"Wow another A" I look it over. I wish the bell would ring already I think.
after the bell rang I went to my locker and got my lunch. Then headed outside to sit under a tree and look at the sky to wonder about the rest of the day

Just when I thought this was going to be a long day, the school day is halfway over and everyone was at lunch, I spot that girl from the door, she looked ticked, then again who wouldn't be after getting hanged in a tree? I couldn't keep a smile off my face. She sat down right in front of me, she was flushed with anger, I waited a moment as I bit into an apple. Chewing and swallowing the piece down, I finally spoke up.

"Finally got out of your tree I see." I said.

"Me and my girls are gonna beat you." She replied.

"Go ahead, give me more of a reason to kick the crap out of the lot of you." I replied then taking another bite.

She didn't wait, she swung, and I immediately got up and fought back, my fists to my face as I block her attacks, soon the whole lunchroom breaks out into chaos. I throw the girl against the wall, and use my powers to begin a maelstrom of lunches to fly around it wasn't until the fire alarms rang that I notice a fire out of the corner of my eyes, the fire was ablaze, soon put out by a guy with purple eyes. He was acting like everything was normal, as the chaos stopped and a new chaos began as students began to evacuate the building.

"I saw that!" I yelled, but my words seemed drowned out by the voices of everyone else.

Aidyn Reed:

"Or you could just cheat like every other kid in this class." A red headed girl winked at me.
"That's pretty tempting." I sigh. "But if I get caught, I could be expelled. You know the zero tolerance policy."
She shrugged. "That's part of the fun."
I smiled. I wasn't going to turn down any possible friends. I stared at the clock for the rest of the hour. Finally the bell rang and we were dismissed for lunch. I was in line to get food when the girl I helped from the tree was talking to a younger girl. Suddenly a fight erupted. I felt my body tense up. Really? Right in the middle of lunch? With a ringing the fire alarms went off. I started to panic. I need to get out of here and calm down. I rushed out of the cafeteria and ran outside. I bumped into a girl and she turned around to snap at me. When she met my eyes she fell to the floor screaming in terror. No no no. I was having trouble controlling that ability. It always seemed to pop up when I was scared, nervous or sad. I squeezed my eyes shut and tried to walk faster towards the exit. Of course it was nearly impossible since everyone was trying to get out. I eventually got out and ran over to a tree on the far side of the ground. Calm down. I'm okay, everything's okay. Deep breaths. I was still on edge and I knew it still wasn't safe for people to be around me.

"Hey." Said a girl.

I immediately closed my eyes again and hugged my knees to my chest.

I laughed loudly as I flung a neighbor's mashed potatoes at someone else, just wanting to join in on the fun. A couple of months ago, something as stressful as this would have sent me running to the bathroom, mid-shift. A ketchup covered hamburger hit me in the chest, and I laughed some more as it fell to the ground. Everyone was making their way to the doors and I followed suit.

As I glanced to my left, I watched the girl from earlier that morning, Aidyn I think her name was, staring into the eyes of another before the second girl collapsed to the ground, screaming in what seemed to be fear.

Oh god.

I sighed and followed Aidyn, who was looking extremely sketchy, out the double doors and across the courtyard. I'm sure I looked extremely strange, with a bright red stain on the front of my favorite sweater. Aidyn had planted herself underneath a tree and as I made my way over I shook my head, knowing this would probably be a bad idea.

"Hey," I coughed as I shoved my hands in my pocket. She squeezed her eyes shut and yanked her legs up to her chest. "I don't usually talk to people like you, you know. People like me." I let out a dry laugh. "Let me guess, it's your eyes? You can open them, I won't look. I have no clue what you do, but I saw that girl drop to the ground." I couldn't read her emotions. They certainly weren't my specialty. "Listen, it's okay." I sighed and sat down beside her. "She probably didn't even see you. Besides, you're not alone. Just calm down."

Samera "Sammie Skinner~

The tests we received back had red scrawled letters across the top left corner where our names were placed. In my case, this letter was an "A" bold and bright with it's perfection. I flipped through the pages, scanning to see if I'd missed any. An "X" Was placed over two questions. I sighed to myself, this wasn't good enough. I knew if anyone knew I was beating myself over two questions, they might find my more insane than the majority already does. The pages slid back to place as the bell quickly muted in my mind.

Sometimes this ability could be a hassle. A few times, loud noises have been blocked out at such urgency that I didn't realize what was happening. Chemistry was next, after lunch of course. Thinking about whether I should get my book now or after lunch, my thoughts ceased as a fight erupted in the middle of the hall. How was I going to get through? If someone did hurt me, I would have to act my through it. Pushing my way in and around the forming crowd, fists flew through the air and collided against fabric and flesh.

I was at the heart of the conflict when the preppy girl who started everything, face red with anger and fear, was dodged. Her attack pressed towards me. With a deep breath, I waited for impact. There was no doubt she'd feel it more than I would. A clenched hand forced into my chest. A loud crunch echoed through the hall. Her scream pierced my hearing. Her hand was broken. Lost in the moment, I sighed and adjusted my bag before walking out of the hall.

OhGod. OhGod. I pulled my palms to the center of my chest and felt the soft muscle that was there. I wasn't as phased by the incident than you would think. I just paced my steps to my locker, exchanged my books, and grabbed my lunch. Staying away from everyone would probably be best at the moment. Breaking someone's hand isn't just a lunch detention waiting. Spotting a tree in the distance, I made my way down beside it, jumped, and placed myself in a nook in the tree among the leaves and branches.

"Hey there," a voice breaks me out of my thoughts about the crumpled lunch in my hands.

I look up and find a guy there, tapping his pencil on the wall. Studying him, I shift and find something strange about him.

"Hi, I guess," I respond. "This fight is ridiculous. They ruined my lunch."

He smiles, which leaves me questioning whether I said what I thought I said. Is there something on my face? What's so funny?

"Why are you smiling?" I ask, bringing a hand up to my head before thinking better of it and putting it down.

"Because you seem familiar," he says, turning to the wall.

He scribbles something down on the concrete and the bag in my hand suddenly feels different. Opening it, I notice that everything is pieced back together as if they had never been trampled on. I look up and find him walking away just as the fire alarm goes off.

Standing, I make my way through the crowd and am pushed out the door with everyone else. Once outside, I slip away from everyone and look over the building.

I'd seen him before. The girl too. Where though?

So with the fire bells ringing, people in a panic, I decide to avoid the crowd and use my powers over gravity to get out. The crystal just under my right eye shines and I levatate into the air, then take off as if I was flying I sail right over the other students heads. Making my way out the door, and into the the fray, I spin in mid air as I enjoyed the breeze in my face as I let my hair blow around wildly. I soon land on top of a fence that gave me plenty of room to manuver with, survaying the crowd that was still pouring out of the school this seemed to take awhile. I soon find a tree take be in until everyone went back inside, heck I even thought about finding that one guy who started the fire alarms. Yea, that was a good idea, time to go other freak hunting.

Over the students as I hover above there heads I search everyone waiting to find a guy with purple eyes, how long this would take I have no clue. But finding someone who had powers like myself, was definitly worth the search.

"Hey." Said a girl. I closed my eyes and brought my knees to my chest.
"I don't usually talk to people like you, you know. People like me." She let out a small laugh. "Let me guess. It's your eyes? You can open them. I won't look. I have no clue what you do but I saw that girl drop to the ground." She paused. I heard a tiny thud as she sat down next to me. "Listen it's okay. She probably didn't even see you. Besides you're not alone. Just calm down."
I took a shattery breath. "Just don't look, okay? I don't want to hurt you." I slowly opened my eyes. It was the girl from biology. Thalia. She was looking at the ground. "What do you do?" She asked.
I chewed on my lip. "Um, well I can control metal and uh, I can make people really scared just by looking at them. I can't control that one and back there, that's what happens sometimes." I glanced at Thalia. "You can look at me now. I think it's safe."
She carefully met my eyes. Nothing happened. I sighed in relief. "So, it's not just me then?" I asked.
She shook her head. "No. I have been watching and there are a couple others here. That girl in the fight, she is one."
"Are you?" I said hesitantly.
"Yes."
"Damn." I murmured. "What do you do?"
She winked at me. "Honey, I do a lot of stuff."
I smiled and looked past her. Crowds of people were gathering around the outside of the school. "What's happening?" I asked standing up.
"Let's go check it out." She suggested.
I offered my hand to help her up but she waved it away.
"I'm Aidyn by the way."

James POV:

I husted outside when that weird kid that flew earlier showed up overhead. This told me I wasn't alone with the weird powers, but I was still trying to remain hidden. I decided that when everyone was out I would make my way over to that kid.

Everyone was now outside and I saw the kid on the fence. She didn't seem to see me right away, so I focused on a rock near her and levitated it so it hit her in the nose. She was hit and quickly focused her eyes in the direction the rock came from. HSh was now looking at me. Anyone else would have seen it as me throwing it, but she seemed to know that I used my powers. I hastily walked over to her and began to chat.

The second I got hit in the nose with a rock, and I think I got a nose bleed now, I narrowed my eyes at the guy. I could tell he did it purposely, he has fire and telekinesis? I was going to show him not to mess with a french lady. I levitated into the air, all the while cursing a whole slurr of curse words in french.

"Vous, fils de pute! Vous allez payer pour ça!" I yelled in french.

I flew right at him as he walked forward grabbing him by the collor of his shirt and into the air we went, he was heavy! I didn't think I could hold him and me for long, so I slammed him against the school building and he fell to the ground. I circled around and came back ramming myself into him, I Soon had him against the wall, holding him by his collor, my fingers curled into a fist with my free hand.

"Vous allez payer pour ça!" I yelled at him again.
