I open my eyes and yawn. Another dreadful day at school. But it sure beats being locked up in a cage. I got a pencil out and drew myself dressed, and was instantly dressed. My drawing skills were getting better and better as the days went by.

I closed my eyes and felt the "warehouse" where my weapons and clothing were. It wasn't really a warehouse, more like a small pocket dimension. I saw what I was looking for, my bag, and pulled it out of the warehouse. It immediately appeared in my hands, and my body tensed.

Fifteen seconds passed and I was able to move again. I slung my bag onto my back, and ran out the door, just as the bus pulled up. With my blind link eyes, I could see more details instead of less details. The bus was already full. I had to hurry or lose my seat. If I didn't get my seat, I would have to sit with someone, and they would notice my abnormalities.

I flew on the bus, not really flying more like running, and passed by a kid with purple eyes, who looked at me weirdly. With a burst of speed, I got my single seat at the very back of the bus. I exhaled my breath and got ready for the school day. Something odd was coming from the bus, from a direction of a kid. I couldn't exactly pinpoint the exact kid, but I knew these following days would be very interesting.

It was going to be a rough day. This realization set in as I lay on the floor after being scared awake by my alarm clock and springing off the bed. I pulled myself into a sitting position before unwinding myself from the jungle of covers. Shuffling through various items on my floor, I made my way to the bathroom.

My hair was crazy and my eyes sleepy. I rubbed my eyes with my hands before doing the same with a washcloth. The light brush pulled through my hair and half was pulled up and secured with elastic and a bow. That would have to do. The first thing I grabbed from my drawer was a peach colored top that came together with lace on the upper back. The shirt expanded on the edges, growing longer until it reached my lower thigh. I threw on a pair of brown jeans and boots before grabbing my things and heading out the door.

The bus never really appealed to me in any way. It was too compact. I stayed a reasonable distance from the road as I walked. The loud clinging bus echoed behind me. One strap of the backpack slid down my shoulder. I adjusted bag as the bus passed forward. Watching it pass, I waited for anything my day had to throw at me.

I look up at the sky as I chewed a piece of gum, laying down with my hands behind my head and my legs cross. I was at the school where every teen in Ashlan went, I was on the roof laying down. I look down, teens were entering the front door down below as school buses pulled in front of the school. It was a long way down, and I was not high enough to touch the sky, I lay my head back down and reach up as high as possible to touch the sky only to still be unable to leave this place. I sigh deeply as I blow a bubble and to have it pop, I take it back in my mouth again the bell rings, and it's time to go, I take out my sunglasses and put them on, then jump over the side, and fall a long way down. Just before I land, I use my powers and land with no damage what's so ever, the teens still entering the school look at me as I dust myself off.

"What are you guys looking at?" I ask.

"A freak." A girl replied.

"Buh-bye." I replied.

I use my power and pick her up off the ground, then take her over to a high up tree, soon hanging her up there. It'll be awhile before she'll get down, but whatever. I enter the school with others, but today, I somehow knew was going to be a long day.

"Tal, get up." Sarah, my brother's fiancee, yanked the blanket off and replaced it with my clothes I had put in the dryer the night before. "I'm going to work. You've got an hour to get ready and get to school." I groaned as she slammed my bedroom door. God, was the weekend really already over? I pulled on a pair of black leggings, leather combat boots and a knit sweater with caribou on it.

I put on a soft layer of makeup, fixed my hair and grabbed my brown leather backpack as I walked out of the door. My car sat in the driveway, in front of my brother's truck, so I really didn't even want to bother to drive the block and a half to the high school. The birds, squirrels, dogs and every other animal was screaming its own salutations to the morning. With a groan, I tried my hardest to block them all out.

After making it maybe two houses down when a black Dodge charger pulled up beside me. A familiar face rolled up beside me, the window rolled down. It was one of the guys who usually sits with my friends and me. Sean, I think his name was. "Need a ride Thal?" He grinned and I shrugged, hopping in the car lithely. When we pulled up to the school my lip curled in disgust. One of the test subjects I'd identified upon first arriving in this little town, Altaira, had another girl dangling in the air before plopping her in a tree. It wasn't that high up, I doubt the girl was able to get out alone. Sean was saying something to a friend of his as they stared. I called out a thanks and walked into the school, smiling at as many people I could.

I was just glad my powers were some of the easier ones to conceal.

I wake up to my alarm blaring out some rock song that I didn't now and didn't care about. I tired it off then rolled out of bed slowly and walked over to my dresser that I have been using since Leanna and John Tomson had me live in there modern home. They found me a week after I got out of the lab and felt sorry for me they asked me lots of questions like. Where are you from? do you have a family? I said I didn't know because I didn't want anyone to find me and hurt me again. Then at the bedroom door I hear Leanna's soft voice "Nick if you want a ride be ready in 10 minutes or you'll have to walk."
"Ok, ill be there I'm just getting my stuff be right there." I throw on a black T-shirt and grey jeans, a black hoodie and some black work boots and ran my hand through my hair and walk to the kitchen to get my bag and lunch and ran out the door.
As I got in the small blue VW Beetle "so have you made any friends yet?"
"No, everyone is so weird around me and I get sick when there are more then 4 people around me."
"Well you have to try some more there has to be someone that can be your friend" she said well we pull up to the school "Good luck." I get out of the car a wave goodbye as she pulls away and turns around to ward the school.
"Here we go again" I whisper to myself.
I walk toward the school when in the corner of my eye I see a girl floating in the air."That is interesting ?" I say to my self and walk toward the school to my locker to get my Biology text book and head to class.

Aidyn:

When the bus finally pulled up at the school, I sighed and walked towards the school entrance. I passed by a girl hanging in a tree.
"Help!" She screeched. "Some freak put me up here! She had super powers or something! Can't anyone hear me! Get me down!"
I'm going to regret this. "Calm down." I shushed her. "Stop squirming. Let me help you." I said softly as I avoided a kick in the face. I reached up and helped her down.
"Oh my god!" She panted. "I swear, I'm going to beat that little freak up. Who does she think she is?!" She ranted.
"You're welcome." I muttered.
"What was that?" She glared.
"Nothing." I can see why someone put her up there. "I have to go, anyways. Biology calls."
I rushed into the school and straight towards my locker. I sent a huff of air up to ruffle my bangs. "Why did you do that, Aidyn?" I whispered to myself. "I know I am in desperate need of friends but her? " I rested my head on the locker door before playing with the lock. What was the com? Forty-eight, fifteen, what? "Gahh!" I let out and punch my locker. I know it's metal and I know I can easily manipulate it but should I? In the middle of the hallway? I heard the warning bell ring. Alright, pull it together. Forty-eight, sixteen, or was it fifteen. You know what? Screw it. I held out my hand and held it over the lock. Right before I made it open I caught a girl looking at me. I smiled awkwardly and gave her a little wave. "Hi, my name is Aidyn." I introduced myself. The girl scoffed and walked away. Okay then. I put my focus back on the lock. I felt the familiar tug on my mind as I willed it to unlock. It obeyed. It was too late. The final bell rang. I muttered some choice words then grabbed my biology book. I ran down the hall and pounded on the closed door. Please don't give me detention.
Mr. Taylor opened the door. "You're late, Miss Reed."
"I know, I'm sorry." I mumbled.
Mr. Taylor handed me a pink slip. It read detention in huge red letters.
"I will see you after school today Miss Reed."
I sighed and took the piece of paper.
"Since you were late you missed the new seating arrangements. Your new seat is back there." Mr. Taylor pointed to a seat in the back next to a boy and a nerdy looking kid.
I felt everyone's eyes follow me as I made my way to my new seat.
"Hey." I whispered to the boy on my right. When he looked over his eyes strangely intrigued me. They were a gorgeous, bright green. "I-I'm..." I stuttered. I couldn't stop staring at his eyes. I cleared my throat and looked down at the floor. "I'm Aidyn."

The neutral air of the school caused a change in my body temperature. Every fraction of a degree affected me greatly. My biology book was packed already from home, and I still had a good five minutes before class. I walked down the narrow hallway, dodging a few freshman on my way. Eyes darted around me, some lingering and some flickering away in an instant.

I sighed as I approached the class that waited at the end of an extending column. Where was I going to sit? I determined it would be best to just go with the flow and take whatever was open like normal. The only thing I carried was a large book that I had taken out on my journey to school. My thumb brushed the side out of habit. The door was open, a decent amount of people already in their seats. A cold breeze shocked me at first, nothing I wasn't subconsciously expecting from a science class.

I had decided to take an extra science class this year, chemistry seemed like an interesting experiment since I had already finished my foreign languages. I must admit, biology wasn't as appealing. The thought of dissecting animals and the snickers through the class when reproduction was mentioned. The maturity level of some people never seem to change.

I took my seat near the back, pretending not to scan the room for familiar faces.
My things were easily pushed aside, my notebook slanted across the desk as my hand silently tapped a beat. The shrill bell echoed in my head, just before a student walked in. Mr. Taylor handed her a slip and she was pointed to her seat.
Was I already wondering what time it was? It was going to be a long day. Thankfully, I didn't know anyone. That alone opened up possibilities.

The ride to school was as normal as usual. Something about some of the kids on the bus seemed familiar, but I couldn't tell exactly how.

As we got to the school, a girl was dangling in a tree screaming. I thought instantly that maybe one of the other escapees had put her up there. A girl walked up to her and pulled her down easily and walked away without a word.

I shook my head and walked into the school. I went straight to my locker. As I put in my combination, I couldn't open it. It seemed stuck. Glancing around to see no one looking, I quickly, and lightly, wrote open on the lock and I heard a small click. My locker opened up and I grabbed my Algebra 2 book and shut it.

I thought I saw a teacher look at me funny but I dismissed it as a coincidence. I did an about face and tightened my grip on my bag's sling. Today was going to be a long day, but it would turn out interesting. I took off walking and sat down in my seat just as the bell rang. I took out my homework, and waited.

James Lionel POV:

I entered the school reluctantly. Biology was about to start. Even though I was a senior, I still decided to reexpand my mind with Biology. I figured I would attempt to best my previous grade of 70%. I already had my books in my bag, so I headed straight to class. As I got in, the final bell rang. Just in time. The teacher requested me to take a seat and I did, in the back of the class. As she began to start the lessen, someone walked in late. He was presumably given a detention. She said today's lessen was on eye colors and other traits. As she mentioned how the pigmentation worked she struck a cord.
"Mind explaining why my eyes are purple then?!" I quickly tried to retract my words, but it was to late. They were already out and I quickly labeled myself a freak. Not the best of plans. At least noone knew of my powers yet.

Well I was sitting in my desk alone looking out the window waiting for class to start the chair next to me stayed empty. After the bell a girl came running in late Mr. Taylor handed her a note and pointed at me. she walked over to the empty chair she whispers "hey" to me then I look at her and try to find something to say back well she spits out "I'm Aidyn."
All I can think about is how pretty she looks I almost forget to introduce my self "I'm Nick" I say then looked down and try to breath. I'm scared my invisibility will start working so i look at the lesson and start to write the topic when a guy asked "Why are my eyes purple."

Aidyn Reed:

I introduced myself to the boy to my right. He looked at me for a while then said, "I'm Nick."
I smiled but he immediately started scribbling something down on the paper. Oh right. Class has started. I dug out my biology notebook. I looked over at Nick's paper. He had written Eye traits. I copied it down and tried to concentrate.
A kid shouted out "mind explaining why my eyes are purple then?"
The kid on my bus. So he did have purple eyes.
As soon as he had blurted out he sunk back into his seat. I felt a twinge of sadness for him. Mr. Taylor must not have heard him, or maybe he just avoided the question. Mr. Taylor went straight to passing back our tests from last week. When he came over I crossed my fingers and scrunched my nose. I peeked one eye out to see the mark on the paper. A big fat D. I sighed. I suck at biology.
"Miss Reed you need to be working harder." Mr.taylor whispered to me. "At this rate you won't pass the semester."
I groaned. "I am trying!" I protested. "I do study, I just can't..understand it."
"Maybe you should look into getting a tutor." He suggested. "There are many people here who can help you."
I huffed. A tutor?

I laughed with the group of girls around me before taking a drag of my cigerette in my fingers. I looked down at my phone, seeing that class had been going on for at least fifteen minutes. "Alright ladies, can't miss a full period." I put her cig out on the bottom of my shoe and walked back into class.

After getting a late pass from one of my brother's friends who taught at the school, I walked to her my first period. They were saying something about eye color. Mr. Taylor shot me a knowing glare as I made my way to the back of the class. The girl in front of me was brooding over Mr. Taylor saying she needed a tutor.

"Or you could just cheat like every other kid in this class," I smiled at her with a wink.

The bell rings for lunch and I hesitate before setting my books in my locker. Grabbing the brown paper bag Ian had packed for me, I head through the halls and into the cafeteria. Just as I pass through, a fight breaks out between a girl who looks similarly to one of the few in my visions and a preppy chick who obviously said something to start it.

I make to turn around and eat outside when someone socks me in the jaw as well. As I fall to the ground, fists flying all around me, I notice that the whole room has broken into chaos and mimicked the very vision I had earlier.

No, no, no...

Before I can get trampled, I scurry to a wall and lift myself up with my crumpled lunch in one hand. I watch the brawl and try my best to stay out of it.

So much for my turkey and cheese...

The day flew on by and soon we were at lunch. I heard arguing nearby and started to inch toward it. I drifted toward it because I heard the word Freak and I remember the voice.

The voice belonged to a girl and if I remembered correctly, the girl was muttering the same word as I passed her in the hall. Freak. I heard a scream and I ran just in time to see the fight break out.

The fight was impossible to see because of this kid. He had hit the ground and his paper bag lunch was trampled on as the two girls fighting spread out. He grabbed his lunch and went to the wall. I slid around the fight and took out a pencil and went beside him.

"...Ruined my lunch," I heard him say.

"Hey there," I said interrupting his rant. I tapped my pencil on the wall, the tip of it not breaking.

"Hi I guess. This fight is ridiculous. They ruined my lunch," he said. I felt something off from him and smiled. "Why are you smiling?"

"Because you seem familiar," I said. Without another word, I quickly wrote Restore on the bag and turned. The bag and the food inside were restored to their original state before they got trampled on. With the smile still on my face, I walked away.

James POV:

It was finally lunch and I could sit down to the only thing as weird as me. School lunches. As I got in line to get food a fight broke out. The fight was continueing on as two people got up in the corner. I needed to get this fight out of the way so I could get my food. I willed a small fire to quickly start and stop by the fire alarms the school had so they would go off. Once they did the original chaos stopped as everyone scrambled to the new chaos of the fire alarm. I joined in the panic to seem normal.
