Not finding him, I head to my room and slide down the door. Smelling like guy, I cough and bury my face in my hands.

Sharp

I run a hand through my hair, "No, Mel. To see how far she would go, so we could better hurt the kid."

I stay where I am and close my eyes, slowly falling asleep.

Mel

I calm down and nod slowly, "How...how did you get her to do that anyways?"

I take a deep breath and wipe my eyes.

Sharp

I shrug, "She stopped struggling after a while."

I start to sleepwalk, climbing down the tree and walking back to the nest in the stables.

Mel

I swallow and nod, "Okay," I keep walking, crossing my arms insecurely over my chest.

I slowly fall asleep, crying.

Sharp

I study her, wrapping an arm around her, "You're my girl, Mel. I wouldn't do anything like that intentionally."

I curl up and fall back asleep.

Mel

"Yeah?" I turn to him, "I heard her ask if you had a girlfriend, and you acted like you didn't care. What the f*ck was that?"

Sharp

I sigh, looking at her, "If I acted like I cared, she wouldn't have done sh*t and this whole thing would have been pointless, babe. I do care though."

Mel

I study him, "Oh."

Sharp

I nod, "Have a little faith in me, babe. I won't wrong you."

Mel

I swallow and nod again, "Okay."

Sharp

I nod and lead her back to our room, "Let me shower and we can relax, alright?"

Mel

I nod, "I wanna shower after."

Sharp

I nod and kiss her cheek, taking a pair of clothes in the bathroom and showering.

Mel

I watch him before taking off my clothes, leaving a bra and underwear on before grabbing an extra pair to take in once he finishes.
