Goddard's Home for Troubled Teens

The House:

Goddard's has three stories which consist of twenty-five bedrooms, sixteen baths, two kitchens, and a living area on each floor. A separate poolhouse behind the mansion consists of five bedrooms and two baths, usually used for staff and completely off limits to guests. Each bedroom is of equal size, with the exception of the headmaster and staff rooms, and are liable to customization of its resident.

Behind the house, there is twenty-four acres of cleared land and a pool near the patio. Among other things, a horse stable sits near a trail that leads into the fenced off forestry behind the property.

The Rules:

Guests are held up to do chores, whether it be cleaning a portion of the house or tending to the stables, and are punished with mandatory dirty work if the task is failed.

Guests cannot leave the property. They reside within the house and are held to it. The staff is allowed to leave for necessities, but are tied to the house as well.

Sex is forbidden. Romance is allowed, but please refrain from anything graphic. If you must, place a ***FADE OUT*** and time lapse at the end of your post.

Guests are also required to speak with the psychiatrist on duty at least once a week, and they are required to show improvement in behavior.

Other than that, guests are free to roam the premises and mingle with the others on the promise that they keep out of trouble.

Valeria "Valerie or Val"

I walk through the doors of the house, swallowing as I remember the task I was suppost to do here. I get a few winks from security guards and I try to ignore them, going to my room, sticking to the mission.

Your here on a mission, Val. Nothing more.

Ryder

Sitting on the banister to the balcony, I look down at all the people left here. None of them interest me and none I find are worth my time. Sighing, I slide off the banister and swing onto the carpet of the floor beneath. A few people give me strange looks, but quickly glance away. Straightening out my jacket, I head to my room.

Val

I get to my room and set my stuff down, changing into jeans and a black leather jacket before heading out. A microphone with a wire is connected to my ear and I talk into it, "Mission A435 I have entered the property," I tell headquarters, just wondering around.

Ryder

I pass a girl in a black leather jacket, muttering something inaudible. Shaking my head, I shrug it off and continue on my way.

Val

I pass a guy that looks interesting and note to check him out later. I keep walking until I get to the pool and put small cameras around that no is could see.

Ryder

Once inside my room, I walk to my bag and take out my secret stash. Tucking a cigarette or two in my jacket, I open my window and slip out. I climb up the side of the building until I reach the roof. Once behind the cover of the chimney, I light one of the cigarettes and bring it to my lips.

Val

Once done, I glance around before taking my badge from my jacket. A security guard passes by and I hide it before I walk back inside, biting my lip as I go to my room. No reason to sit around doing nothing. I change into a Bikini and reveal my abs before throwing my jacket back on over it, walking to the pool.

Ryder

I look over the property as I smoke, making out a few people I recognize. Way in the back, which I can somehow see, someone falls off their horse only to be dragged around on the ground with their foot caught in the spur as the horse slowly makes its way towards food. Sighing, I don't allow myself to be amused by it, muttering "loser" under my breath before averting my gaze elsewhere.

I take off my jacket once I get to the pool, letting my ringlets down and getting a tan.

Ryder

Finishing my cigarette, I stomp it out and gracefully make my way to the edge of the roof facing the pool. My eyes set on the girl from the hallway, or at least that's who she resembles, lying out by the water. Something about her interests me, strikes me as odd. Not a normal type to be sent here...

Val

I put my shades on and put my headphones in, listening to the mission given on tape.

Ryder

Deciding to figure this out for myself, I cross the roof and climb down the side again. I slip inside my room and slide my window shut. I change into my only swim trunks and take a towel, walking out to the pool.

Val

I listen to the mission carefully and think of where to start, content.

Ryder

Silently taking the spot beside her, I lie in the chair and close my eyes.
