After saying that, I look back at Sharp, No more violence.

Ryder

I squeeze Val's hand, trying to figure out who the girl is.

I tighten my jaw and refuse to look at the two, studying Mel, "Fine. Your apology is accepted. Now scram."

Val

More interested in knowing who the girl is, I hesitate, "Your name?"

I glance at her, "Melody."

"And what are you?" she asks.

"A supermodel, criminal, soon-to-be single," I answer.

Ryder

Sharp's eyes widen and he looks at her for the last part. I suppress a smile, still hating the guy.

Val

Wow. Sharp pleading for forgiveness. Never would've expected that.

She rolls her eyes and looks at me, "And you?"

I swallow, "Uh...Valeria....I can't tell you the last part."

I cross my arms before nodding, biting my lip as I study them, "And your....together?"

She just nods.

Ryder

I nod back with Val, biting my lip to suppress the smile I get when Sharp begs for forgiveness.

I tighten my jaw and shake my head, sighing.

Val

I nod, flashing a small smile. She studies me before speaking, "My parents are forcing me to stay here until Sharp gets out...so...we could room together."

I nod, "Sure. I'll lead you to my room later."

I nod back and sigh, "I'm gonna go and...do stuff," I mutter, walking back in the room and grabbing my bag.

Ryder

I sigh, not sure how I feel about Val all friendly towards the girl who seems just like Sharp, if not worse.

I watch Mel before shaking my head and sitting on my bed, "Whatever."

Val

I look back at Ryder, telling him to go talk to him.

I walk to the pool and take off my shirt, using my bra as a bikini top as I get a tan.

Ryder

I study Val, not sure if she's serious. Why me? He's got his buddies to cheer him up...

I glance at the two, confused as to why they're still here, "I thought I told you to scram."

Val

Then I will. You go talk to Melody.. I tell him, shutting the door and leaning against it, "Sorry about your breakup."

I take a deep breath, tilting my shades down.

Ryder

I stand outside the door for a minute or two, not trusting Sharp with her. When it doesn't open, I curse under my breath and shake my head. I start walking off to wherever that girl went.
