I glance at him again, mumbling, "Hi."

Ryder

I study her, "Hey. You feeling better or no?"

Val

I nod, "A little."

Ryder

I sit at her side and sigh, nodding back.

Val

I hesitate before unsteadily standing.

Ryder

I watch her, hesitating before standing as well in case she needs me.

Val

I take a deep breath, "Le-Lets go back."

Ryder

I study her, "You sure?"

Val

I nod hesitantly, "Yeah."

Ryder

I hesitate before nodding back and wrapping around her waist for support, "C'mon then. We'll have to be careful and quick. Should we get food first?"

Val

I shake my head, "Not hungry."

Ryder

I kind of am... I nod and help her out of the room, walking with her outside into the dark.

Val

I glance at him, "You can get something though."

Ryder

I nod, "I'll go back when you're settled. I don't wanna tire you out."

Val

I nod and sigh.
