I nod, smiling, "What do you want to talk about?"

Ryder

I shrug, shoveling nastiness off the floor and into the wheelbarrow, "Anything but food. I'll see mine again if we do..."

Val

I think, "Alright...are you in a relationship?"

Ryder

I shake my head, "No. Haven't been in a while. There's no point in that kind of thing out here. I...I don't want some crazy, addict for a girlfriend and that's what most of them are here, among other things. Even at home... I have high standards and no one's impressed me enough to reach them. You?"

Val

I bite my lip, "Nope. My standards are pretty high too. I only take guys that can handle my craziness and most of them can't. Others are just players that want me for my legs, thighs, and breasts..." I smile, "I could've sent them to KFC."

Ryder

I can't help but chuckle at what she says, shaking my head at her, "Wow. You should have. That's an awesome comeback. Too bad I can't use it."

Val

I smile wider, "You can...but that's just be..." I think about it, "Nevermind."

Ryder

I glance at her before continuing my work, smiling, "Yeah.."

Val

I shake my head, "Yeah, no. But if your dating a player...someone that cheats on you...and then, they say, 'hate the player not the game' you could right a sticky note that says 'game over' on it and slap it on her forehead."

Ryder

I smile and nod, "I'll keep that in mind."

Val

I nod, "Yep."

Ryder

"Sounds like you've had experience with all this," I say, glancing at her.

Val

I shake my head, "I've only had one boyfriend in my whole life. And that relationship lasted two months."

Ryder

I nod and decide not to ask her about it, not sure whether it's a touchy subject or not. Instead, I continue to shovel crap into the wheelbarrow.

Val

I think, not saying anything more.
