I wrap my arms around him and sigh, someone knocking at the door. I groan and stand before answering it, Val standing there with her arms crossing insecurely over her chest. She glances at Sharp before pulling me out, dragging me to a random place. Okay then...

Sharp

Uh... alrighty then. I'll stay here. I shake my head and lace my hands over my stomach, closing my eyes.

Mel

She shoves me against the wall and keeps me there, "I know what your doing."

I smile, "What am I doing?"

She shakes her head and punches me, leaving me with a bloody lip before dropping me. I shake my head, "You need to chill."

"Chill?! Your boyfriend is giving me mixed signals, I'm confused as f*ck, and feel like..." She trails off.

I stand and wipe my mouth, shaking my head and walking back, "Idiot."

Sharp

I sit up when Mel gets back, standing and going to her when I find her with a bloody lip, "She hit you?"

Mel

I nod, "She punched me," I plop on the bed.

Sharp

I get a damp cloth and sit beside her, bringing it to her lip, "You hit her back?"

Mel

I shake my head and let him, "No."

Sharp

"What'd she say?" I ask, cleaning the wound.

Mel

"I quote- 'your boyfriend is giving me mixed signals and that she's confused as f*ck'," I chuckle.

Sharp

I flash a smile, "Well that's working at least. That's why she punched you though?"

Mel

I nod, "Yep."

Sharp

I put the cloth down and trace her lip with my thumb, "Wouldn't it have been more effective for her to hit me instead?"

Mel

I shrug, "I don't know. I was the first person she saw when the door opened..."

Sharp

I nod and sigh, sitting back against the pillows.

Mel

I sigh and look at him, "You gonna go to Val in the morning? Get her even more confused? I'll go to Ryder again. Then once I'm done we can switch and you can...beat down on him or whatever."
