Rayah

Jackie shakes her head before grabbing Jace's wrist and forcing him out, "We're following her."

I keep my arms at my side and make my way to the cavern he took me to the first time.

Jace

I follow, feeling even more helpless, and the look-a-line keeps at my side.

Rayah

I get to the cavern and Jackie drops behind a bush, watching.

He smile at me, "Good girl. Now, we have a lot to do today."

I don't respond and be traces his fingers over my marks again before drawing a new one on the belly of my arm, "You'll see why I'm doing this. S'to warm your family. The words are true."

My eyes still blue, he leads me to a rock and lays me down on it before covering my eyes with a blindfold.

Jace

To warn us? Of what?

I stay silent and watch, my stomach knotting every time he touches her.

Rayah

He says something in another language and I feel something else in the cavern, the shadows appearing like said on my arm before melting into mine. He takes the blindfold off and dissapears. My eyes go back to green and I blink a couple times before sitting up on my arms, swallowing and rubbing my eyes.

Jace

He disappears and she wakes out of her trance. I hesitate before standing, the look-a-like trying to stop me from going to her again.

Rayah

I see Jace and swallow, standing before crossing my arms, "Where am I?"

Jace

The look-a-like lets me go and I walk to Rayah, setting a hand on the side of her face and checking her over for harm. Not finding any, I swallow and meet her gaze, "A cavern. W-we followed you here."

Rayah

I swallow, He followed me here?

I nod slowly and run my fingers over the new message.

Jace

"Jackie's idea," I add, pointing back to her.

Rayah

Jackie reveals herself and I shrug, "S'Fine."

Jace

I study her, "Y-you okay?"

Rayah

I nod, "Yeah," I look up, "Just thinking."

Jace

I nod and take my hand away from her face, "D-do you know what the marks mean now or no?"

Rayah

I nod, "Yes. Something's coming."
