Mount Olympus [5]

Rayah

I blink a couple times, "I-I fell...I think."

Jace

Swallowing, I scoop her up and take her to the bed. I gather something to clean her wound with from the bathroom and sit at her side.

Rayah

I glance at him and my vision shifts again, loosing too much blood. I swallow, "I...I..." I forget what I'm gonna say.

Jace

I hush her and stop the bleeding, wrapping the cut in bandage. When done, I lie beside her and hold her close.

Rayah

My eyes closed, I bury my face so deep into his chest that I can barely see anything, swallowing.

Jace

I hold her as close as I can, trying to suppress my worry.

Rayah

I cuddle even deeper into him and sigh.

Jace

"Rest up, Ray," I whisper. "I'll be right here."

Rayah

I swallow and try to get deeper, "I-I can't go any deeper..." I pout.

Jace

I smile and tighten my grip, "Better?"

Rayah

I shake my head, "I...I need deeper."

Jace

I flash a smile, "Any deeper and you'd be a part of me, Rayah."

Rayah

I sigh and try to go deeper anyways.

Jace

I smile and let her, tightening my arms around her.

Rayah

I pout again and sigh, "Ugh.." I mumble, "I'm cold."

Without hesitation, I go under his shirt that he put on earlier and keep against his shirt, the top covering my head, "That's better."
