Rayah

I wash my mouth out and stand, shaking my head before going to the bed.

Jace

I run a hand through my hair before sighing, closing my eyes a moment.

Rayah

I lie in bed and just stare at the ceiling.

Jace

A chill brushes over the back of my neck and my eyes shoot open just in time to find the shadow directly in front of me, staring into my eyes.

"Uh..." I swallow. "Rayah, could you come here for a moment?"

Rayah

I sigh and stand, walking to him.

Jace

I don't take my eyes off the shadow, not wanting it to move on me.

Rayah

I see the shadow and freeze midstep, "Who's that?"

Jace

I swallow, "Uh... a thing."

Rayah

Not knowing what to do, I just stand there like an idiot.

Jace

I take a chance and look at Rayah, "W-what do we do?"

Rayah

I shrug and don't say anything.

Jace

Sighing, I hesitate before reaching towards the shadow.

Rayah

He reaches towards it and I slap his hand away, "Are you crazy?"

Jace

I look at her, "Do you want me to answer that truthfully?"

Rayah

I shake my head, "Just don't touch it."
