Ruby

My eyes widen and I stumble backwards, my eyes watering. Oh my god.

Looking down, I hide behind Dylan and shake my head, a tear running down my cheek. My whole kingdom... I sigh, What's happening to it?

Dylan

I swallow and wrap an arm behind me around Ruby, holding her close. I take her hand with the other and look at Roan, who stands stiffly beside the King. Aw sh*t. We're dead, aren't we?

Skyy

"Poor bob." I remark.

An elderly man came forward and looked at me, everyone else was looking at him and he did seem like royalty a king even. I waited a moment before he finally says something.

"I see fighting against you is meaningless, it would only cost the lives of my kingdom if I were to fight you. A meaningless fight. Citzaens of the Pearl Kingdom, I urge you not to fight her, I wish not for more blood shead to come from resisting her." He said.

"You are a smart man for not resisting me, I promise you that you and your daughter will be allowed to return to your throne once I have a ship to leave on." I said.

Ruby

My father kneels, everyone else doing the same. He looks at me, telling me to do the same.

What? Hell no!

Shaking my head quickly, his eyes narrow and I swallow. Shaking my head, I do as he says. This feel so...wrong.

Dylan

I kneel when Ruby does, watching as Roan hesitates to do so. I grip her hand behind me and swallow, not liking any of where this is going.

Ruby

My father exits with the girl, something about her making me uncomfortable. I stand and everyone else does, whispering to eachother. I cross my arms and think, outrageously pissed off.

Dylan

I stand when Ruby does and watch Roan go off to talk to someone. Pushing him out of my mind, I focus on Ruby and sense she's upset.

"You wanna get out of here?" I ask, trying to keep from freaking out like I've wanted to this whole time. Before... you know, the ceiling crashes in and three hostile creatures from famous movies fall in. Oh wait... That already happened.

Ruby

I nod and let him lead the way, sighing.

Dylan

I manage to lead us back to her room, opening the door for her and closing it behind me. Not sure what else to do, I sit on the couch and compose myself.

"You... You okay?" I ask, looking at her.

Ruby

I nod, "Yeah. I'm fine," I huff and plop next to him.

Dylan

I study her and nod, taking her hand again and kissing her cheek.

Ruby

I let him kiss my cheek and flash a smile, resting my head on his shoulder.

This is weird... but i just had the sudden desire to play Jace again. o.o

Dylan

I wrap an arm around her and sigh, closing my eyes for a moment.

I close my eyes and sigh, yawning.

Dylan

She yawns and I set my chin on the top of her head, sighing again.
