Pearl

Pearl is a beautiful country, off maps, and off any radar.


Pearl has a wonderful village, a palace, and mountains; forests. There are purple skies, and this island is bordered my crystal clear water.

This map will help guide you through Pearl.

The village is located right underneath the Kingdom Of Pearl, and the diamond mining is done inside the Frost Valley. Caves inhabit this valley of mountains. Separating the two main woods, is a mountain rage where on the other side, is the Dark Forest. Going into that forest will be a mistake. The place is inhabited by elves, dragons, and evil creatures such a serpents in the lagoons. A princess and king live in the kingdom, the queen already passed away.

But what ancient secrets does Pearl hold?

Guards on either side of me and my father leading, he opens the drawbridge as he leads me and Dylan in. The palace is just like it was before, marble floors and diamonds hanging from the ceiling for decoration, and windows with velvet HUGE curtains draping on each side. The maids wave to me, my father leading us into his library, where he tells us to wait as goes to find a guard to get Dylan's brother.

Dear god. Please don't make me get in the proper dress code here...

Dylan

I follow the man, who I assume is Ruby's father, and Ruby inside the humongous castle. Awestruck, I try my best to keep up while glancing around at everything around me. We're led into a library before he leaves us and tells us to wait. He's going to get Roan. I'm...in an actual castle... waiting to see my missing brother again. Pinch me. I keep my sunglasses from before on and my arms crossed over my torso, more nervous than I should be.

Ruby

I glance around awkwardly, bored out of my mind, and glance at the humoungous guards surrounding me, "I don't need you guys," I shoo them off, "You're off duty now."

They stomp off and I sigh as my dad walks in with Dylan's brother.

Dylan

Ruby's father returns with an auburn-haired boy my older brother's age just as Ruby ushers her guards away. I flash a smile and man-hug him when he's close enough. He hugs me back and chuckles, sighing.

"Sorry, Lyn," he whispers, "I didn't mean to leave without you, but I had to go."

Ruby

They man-hug and I chuckle, running a han through my hair as I lean against my father's desk.

Dylan

We break our man-hug and he ruffles my hair, taking my glasses off before I can stop him and revealing the scar on the side of my temple. After studying it for a second, he looks back at Ruby's father and respectively bows.

"Is it alright if he stay with me, your highness?" he asks, "He won't be any trouble, I give you my word."

Ruby

My father sighs and looks at me. I shrug, "What?" I ask, arms crossed. He raises an eyebrow and I shrug again, confused.

He looks back at Dylan and his brother, "Stay as long as you want."

He looks back at me, "Go get dressed."

I shake my head, "Nope."

"Ruby!" He yells.

I smirk, "Yeah?"

He gives me the death stare and I stare back at him, not moving a muscle.

Dylan

Roan flashes a smile and nods in thanks before slinging an arm around my shoulders. He watches the father-daughter exchange before looking at me and leading me away to leave them in privacy.

"There's so much for you to see," he smiles, "So much for me to tell you. You have the book?"

I nod and pat my jacket. He smiles and nods.

"Good. It'll help things," he says.

Ruby

He literally forces me to dress like royalty. My maid picks out a blue gown-type thing for me to put on, and curls my hair, leaving it down. I walk back out of my room and see Dylan and his brother. I flash a smile and walk over, "This is you're brother?"

Dylan

I look in front of me and find Ruby...in a dress. I nod at her question, not able to process words. Roan nods in respect and smiles.

"Roan, m'lady," he introduces himself, "Pretty much a handyman around here."

Ruby

I flash a smile at Dylan's speechlessness and look at his brother, "Sweet. My name is Ruby."

Dylan

Roan discretely smacks the back of my neck and smiles, nodding at Ruby.

"S'a pleasure to meet you, m'lady," he says, "Thank you for having my brother brought back."

Ruby

I nod, "S'cool," I sigh, "S'not like I had anything..." I glance out the window, "Nevermind."

A maid comes up behind me and fixes my hair, scaring the sh*t out of me. I scream and she jumps back, guards coming right when they heard it. I freeze, "Oh...sorry. She just...scared me..." I shoo the guards away, the maid's face going pale.

I pay her cheek before apologizing. She sprints off and I take a deep breath, "God please help me..."

Dylan

"It gets easier," Roan assures her, "It's confusing now, but everything will line up in the end."

I glance at him, wondering how the hell he knew that.
