"I'm Annie- Will's older sister" says the pretty tan girl at the reception desk, "You can meet Will and I here at seven if you want. I am taking him out for dinner.
"Oh no." I say back to her, " I couldn't intrude on you're dinner."
I smile taking the key off of her.
"I'll be back in a few..."
I go to the room on the key and pull out a pair of brand new denim shorts and a black sequined top that's just a little too tight.
I walk back down the hall with my wallet.
Will, Annie and Sunny are still standing there.
I grin at them.
"I'll probably be back in an hour..." I say, "I'm going to go shopping again..."
Sunny chokes on a laugh and I mock glare at her.
"I just wan't to buy a dress I saw before but didn't get... I'll wear it when I go to dinner later on."
Will and Annie nod in some sort of agreement whilst Sunny just stands in the corner grinning and looking at her watch.
"What?"
She looks up, "An hour, huh?"
I nod, "Don't Worry..." I tell her, "I'll buy you something too."
Then I walk out.

Sunny

When we finally make it to the reception desk, our bags in hand, we find Will talking to the girl standing behind the reception desk.
He is smiling, looking a lot happier than he ever had on the ship and she is pointing up the hall- explaining something to him.
Getting closer I realise how simular they look. A moment later the girl looks up to see us, a smile still on her face and Will turns around.
“So… can we have a room?” Alysha asks smiling.
The girl turns to grab two keys from a rack behind her sliding them onto the desk. “Sure.”
“Annie. These are my friends,” Will says, gesturing at Alysha then at me. The girl- Annie turns to face us again, smiling.
Slowly she reaches out her hand to shake mine, then Alysha’s.
“I am Annie, Will's older sister.” “I’m Sunny,” I tell her, “It’s nice to meet you.”
Alysha introduces herself and Annie hands us both a small silver key.
I look down at the number on mine. 145. I wonder where that is…
Annie continues speaking, a smile still on her face.
“You can meet Will and me here at seven if you want. I am taking him out for dinner.”
Alysha is the first to disagree.
"Oh no," She says, “I couldn't intrude on your dinner."
She nods to them both and walks off down the hall staring at the room number on the key, “I’ll be back in a few…”
She disappears around the corner.
I turn back to Annie, “It was nice to meet you.”
She nods, “So… will you come to dinner with us.”
I look up, “Well… I.” I pause thinking of what to say, “I probably don’t want to interfere with your dinner either, Y’know. So I’ll probably just pick something up later…”
Now, I wonder where I can get that…

"Sunny," I began, "if you want to find real food, I think there's a good restaurant down the street...right, Annie?"

"Yep," Annie confirmed. "Two blocks from here. Great Italian place. I'd get a reservation pretty soon, though. It's not too expensive, but tables fill up fast."

"I think I'll drop my stuff in my room and explore a bit," I said. "Annie, I'll just meet you back here at six, or something, okay? Whoa--" I was hit by a wave of nausea, and the room started spinning around me.

"You okay?" Sunny asked.

"Yeah," I muttered, arms out to keep my balance. "Just a little land sickness."

"Land sickness?" Annie repeated.

"It's like sea sickness, but on land," I explained. The room hadn't stopped spinning yet.

Annie just shook her head. "You have issues, you know that?" she chuckled.

“I’m Okay,” he says after nearly fainting on the spot,” Just land sickness…”
Annie looks dubious, “Land sickness?”
"It's like sea sickness, but on land," He explains on the spot.
Annie just shakes her head, laughing, “You have issues, you know that?”
I roll my eyes, watching as his skin goes even paler.
In very vague terms- He Does Not Look Good.
I spot a chair in the corner, and then I look back up at him and Annie shaking my head.
“I’m going to be a doctor, Will, you’re going to have to better than that.”
I push him towards the chair, “Now sit down.”
Shockingly he does.
I take his temperature- a little too hot then what’s good for him.
“Have you been feeling dizzy lately? Tired?”

"No," I said to Sunny. "I'm never dizzy on ships. And I'm being serious. This happens every time I get off a ship. I actually saw a doctor about it once; she said something about balance mechanisms settling in the inner ear, or something like that..."

Sunny still looked skeptical as she put her thermometer away. "Did you get sick on that island?" she asked.

"No," I answered. "Maybe I'm allergic to something...? That's the only other explanation I can think of. I'm allergic to...nickel, I think. Yes, that's right."

Sunny raised an eyebrow. "I don't think that would make you dizzy," she said.

"I'm just not used to being on something that doesn't move," I continued. "It's weird."

"Huh," Sunny said. "Well, you sit down for a while. I think I can figure this out."

Mechanisms settling in the inner ear...
I’ve never heard anything like that in any of the medicine courses I’ve taken, but I guess it is possible.
I put the thermometer away and turn my attention back to Will.
“Did you get sick on that island?”
"No.” He says, Maybe I'm allergic to something...? That's the only other explanation I can think of. I'm allergic to...nickel, I think. Yes, that's right."
"I don't think that would make you dizzy," I state a little unconvinced.
He smiles reassuringly at me and then over my shoulder to Annie who is still standing behind the desk, staring over to us every 2 seconds.
"I'm just not used to being on something that doesn't move," he continues, "It's weird."
I nod, "Well, you sit down for a while. I think I can figure this out."
I take a step back and think about everything I ever learned similar to this in school, but my head just starts throbbing again, like it did on the trip back to land.
I should probably get thaty checked out later...I turn back to Will.
“I’m not sure what to think,” I tell him, feeling like a bit of an idiot, “Not at the moment anyway. My head is being weird... What I do know though is that you need to take it easy. No stress. No work. Don’t overexert yourself. Okay?”
He nods seriously.
Good... do you still feel dizzy?”
Just then another crowd of people walk into the room.

Annie

A huge crowd of people come in and I can tell be their inability to walk in a straight line, their dunk. I roll my eye and begin to prepare for the worst. They some how manage to get over to the front desk and a man, not older than me plops to the front. His breath smells of cheap beer and whiskey. “Welcome to the The Las Vegas VENETIAN.” I say. “May I get you a room?” I ask.

“No we are just here for the casino.” he says. “and hopefully more drinks.” he laughs.

“Well the casino is not permitted unless you have you have a pass.” I say.

“Well give me a pass.” he demands.

“Sorry, you only get a pass if you are a guest here.” I say shrugging.

He reads my name tag, or at least tries to. Apparently this drunk cannot read. “Amy, don't you think that you could just let me and my friends into the casino. I will make it up to you later.” he say. I see Will pop up out of his chair and begin to walk over here. I shake my head and he sits back down, keeping his eyes locked on me.

“Okay listen here, I am not a slut. If you are looking for one of those, there are a lot of them on the street corner. Secondly, you can get out of my hotel before I press this button. When I press this button, a lot of big muscular men are going to forcefully remove you from this building. I advise you to leave.” I say.

He looks at me and shrugs. “Whatever that is not going to happen.” He say.

I smile and press the button. “Don't say I did not warn you.” I sit down in my chair and four of the security offices come out and take the group away. “Bye.” I say waving.

Annie sits back down at the desk as four security guards walk in and drag off the four drunken idiots, who argue all of the way.
“Hey. Come on. We just want a drink. Let me go!”
The security drags them out the door and down the hall.
“Finally,” I mutter, “Idiots.”
Will stands up from the chair, swaying slightly and walks over to the reception desk.
Are you okay,” I hear him ask from across the room.
Slowly I stand and walk across.
“Okay. I’m going to check out my room and then go to that Italian place you were telling me about. Way to much drama for one day… I pull the small silvery key out of my pocket, “So… where’s room 145?”

"So where's room 145?" Sunny asked.

"I think it's in the same hallway as my room," I answered. "Right over this way."

I walked down one of the hallways, with Sunny following. "127," I muttered. "127...there you are." I fumbled my room key out of my pocket and opened the door, leaning against the frame for balance. "145 should be just down the hall," I called to Sunny. She nodded, and continued down the corridor.

I dropped my suitcase in my room, and then went back to the front desk. "Annie, do you have any dramamine?" I asked. "And maybe something for headaches?"

"Sure," Annie replied. "Here ya go." She handed me a bottle of dramamine, and a pill that looked like Advil.

"Thanks," I said. I walked back to my room, took both pills, and then began unpacking. After a while, my head started to feel funny. "Hey, Sunny?" I called. "What are some of the side effects of Advil?"

I follow Will down the hall until we come to the room 127.
He pulls out a key, opens the door and stumbles in calling out behind him that my room- 145- should be just down the hall.

I nod walking off, until I come to the room with my nouber on the front of it in shiny silver letters.

I open the door and walk inside, dragging my suitcase and shopping bags with me.

The room is massive and really luxurious.
Almost more luxurious then the ship...
Except this won't sink, hopefully.

I walk over and drop my bags onto the bed while I walk around, checking out the rest of the room.

That's when my phone starts ringing in my pocket, making me jump.
I fish it out of my bag.
5 missed calls.

I check who they were from.

3 from Alysha, 1 from Optus and... one from my brother...Ryan.

Ignoring the one's from Alysha (temporarily) and the phone company I immediately skip to the one from Ryan.

It doesn't say anything much, except that it was sent around about three hours ago- When Alysha and I were out shopping.

I click the button, about to call him back when Will's voice comes over from across the hall.

"Hey, Sunny?" he calls.

P ut the phone away and walk to the door as he asks a question,"What are some of the side effects of Advil?"

I walk out of my room and over to where he is standing near his room, lokkiing alomst paler then he did before.

Advil...

"uh," I start thinking back to all of the med books I had to read for a course I had once taken, "Most commonly it can be dizziness, headaches, nausea, and stomach pains..."

I look over at him, "Why? What's up?"

I drove back down to the hotel as quick as possible, leaving the car running as I ran inside.
Then I ran to find Sunny.
She was talking to Will.
Quicky I interrupted," OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!! I FOUND THE COOLEST DRESS EVER!!!!! YOU MUST COME WITH ME NOW!!!!!! "
I dragged Sunny away, made her get in the car and drove back down the left avenue to the last shop.
Then I bought the last black dress, grinned at Sunny and said, "Now you pick one."

I walk through the shop, looking at dresses (or rather- pretending to look at dresses so Alysha will stop yelling at me for NOT looking at dresses...).
She pulls a sparkly black one off the rack, swirls it around a few times and then walks over to the checker buys it.
"Now you pick one."
I pick up the first dress I see - some blue maxi dress that I'd probably never ever wear.
"No! Not that one!" She yells, " Something you'll actually wear."
I smile slightly.
Is this what having a sister is like?
I look back to the rack, "Well, what would you suggest then, genious?"

I walked down to the next set of dresses and pulled out a white dress , it was short , elegant , and something sunny would look good in , and something she'd actually wear .

I said "This one" , and made her go try it on "GO TRY IT ON" I said in a stern voice , and yes this is what its like having an older sister!", sunny grabbed the dress and went and tried it on.

She walks down the aisle pulling out a short white dress. “This one!” She says handing me the dress, “Go and try it on.”
I take the dress a little reluctantly and walk towards the change room. “This is what having an older sister is like,” she yells after me, “get used to it.”
“Mind-freaking-reader,” I mumble, walking into the change room, then I yell out, “not older sister idiot! We are the same age!” I shut the door behind me, blocking out whatever she has started to say.
Then I try the white dress on.
It’s just a little too short then my usual liking but it has a certain elegance to it that makes me (not that I’d ever really say this out loud-especially not to Alysha.) like it.
“Well? Show me?!!!!” She yells, her voice carrying through the walls of the change room.
I roll my eyes and open the door.
“I don’t know,” I tell her, “Where would I wear it anyway?”

"Well if will makes us goto dinner with him, then to dinner , otherwise we are going NIGHT CLUBBIN " I said to Sunny, I bought the dress for sunny , and then we walked back to the car slowly , I looked across the streed and saw a shop full of shoes , Sunny saw me crossing the road and said "HEY WAIT , ATLEAST LET ME PUT THE SHOPPING IN THE CAR!!", I turned around and pressed the button to unlock the car then waited till sunny put all our shopping in the car, then when she closed the door i pressed the button to lock it again , we ran across the street to the shoe shop called "Designer Brands!" , I ran in side and looked around for about half an hour and i found matching shoes for my dress , and also a pair of matching shoes for sunnys dress to , I quickly bought them then I dragged sunny out of the store.
