What's everyone reading?

I read the memoir 'Night' for my english class. I usually hate the books we read, but this one was so profound and perfect and so I actually bought my own copy

I only had started reading Tagore's Ghore-baire' but never got around finishing it.

I read the English translation not the original Bengali text and it's a quite remarkable poem collection.

Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. It's my first Tolstoy book. Decided that if I want to see the movie, I have to read the book first.

Just completed half the Franz Kafka short story collection.

Red Dragon by Thomas Harris

Pretty good read.

I've very nearly finished Stuart: A Life Backwards by Alexander Masters. Even though I don't usually go for non-fiction, and it's the first biography I've read, I saw the TV movie of it a little while ago and loved it, so I thought I'd give it a try. I love the book even more- it was all I could do not to read it in one sitting.

As well as Stuart, I'm one book into the mammoth Parade's End by Ford Madox Ford (also found through a screen adaptation). It's really good, but a bit hard going for me personally as it was written in the '20s, while most of the stuff I usually read is quite modern. Not to mention the fact that it's 900 pages long.

The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest by Stieg Larsson. It's the final installment of Millenium trilogy and I'm in love with it. If you've got a thing for computers, journalism or crime, grab your copy.

I'm reading "Blood Runner" at the moment. Definitely an interesting book about racism and stuff like that, kind of upsetting to think of it all. There's me being naive. My favourite book ever is "Torn" by Cat Clarke. Wowzas that was exciting.

Rereading The Trial by Kafka right now. Fave book of all time, no jk.

Also, Faulkner's The Hamlet. Gotta finish that sometime.

"The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls.

Great book. It's one of my favorites.
