What's everyone reading?

I've been reading The Lovely Bones for months and somehow something always gets in the way and I'm not able to finish the book.

But from whatever I've read till now, I can say this for sure that I love the writing Alice has for us to present.

I've been trying to finish One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez for weeks, but school's preventing me from doing so

hm... I just finished reading my book : Rapture-Lauren Kate. 4th in the series. Any recomendations.
Oh and quick question! Do I read TOO much? 150 in less than a year...? :/

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

The last name makes me think of "the mortal instruments" Valentine had bad plans. As did Johnathan/Sebastiasn.

Some recommendations...if you're into the Fallen series, I'd suggest the Hush Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick, The Evernight series by Claudia Gray, and Wings, Spells, Illusions, and...something else ^^" by Aprilynne Pike.

And some others. These are all really good YA books. ^^

Marquez is a genius when it comes to rich detailing, descriptions and plot.

And I got Rapture on monday, then finished it on wednesday...

agree with you Puck...i remember i was in eighth grade when i read it and it got me so absorbed that i was was covering the book with a text-book and reading it like that while study-time so that my mom could think that i was studying...she caught me after a few days though.

it is quite distressing actually to hear that he has dementia now and will be unable to write anymore.

The Night Circus has nothing to do with the Mortal Instruments apart from the author's last name. It's really a fantastic book.

Currrently reading Anna Karenina. It's a trek, but I'm in the 600s now so not long to go. And it is amazing. It's not difficult to read at all- some classics like Wuthering Heights felt like walking through mud, but Anna Karenina is so enjoyable it's very easy to read 100 pages without noticing.

i know they have nothing in common. the last name from the book is the same as the last name of some characters in mortal instruments....

I'm currently filling my head with science fiction stories. More specifically: those of the Halo series. I'm working on finishing Ghosts of Onyx at the moment, then it's on to Contact Harvest and First Strike. <3
I'm also working my way through Boneshaker by Cherie Priest, which is probably the best steampunk novel I've ever read.

Johnny Cash the Autobiography - Johnny Cash/Patrick Carr. "He's a walking contradicion, partly truth and partly fiction." Kris Kristofferson on Johnny Cash. A great book for any artist of any kind including author.
