I've been reading The Lovely Bones for months and somehow something always gets in the way and I'm not able to finish the book.
But from whatever I've read till now, I can say this for sure that I love the writing Alice has for us to present.
hm... I just finished reading my book : Rapture-Lauren Kate. 4th in the series. Any recomendations.

i read it a couple of years ago and loved it. it's the one book that is solely responsible for popularizing Magic-realism.
Marquez is a genius when it comes to rich detailing, descriptions and plot.

agree with you Puck...i remember i was in eighth grade when i read it and it got me so absorbed that i was was covering the book with a text-book and reading it like that while study-time so that my mom could think that i was studying...she caught me after a few days though.
it is quite distressing actually to hear that he has dementia now and will be unable to write anymore.
