Spoiler
Veri, a world opposite of Earth where kingdoms still dominate the governing base and culture is primitive but complex. Within this dimension, turmoil reigns. Though war has not been officially declared, three of the four kingdoms prepare for battle against the fourth, which shows hostility and the greed for expansion. If war were to break out, peace would mean nothing and the world would spin into eternal chaos.
Just as tensions were beginning to worsen, a wise elder spoke word of a prophecy on her deathbed. She foresaw the chaos, and foresaw the only thing that could prevent the eternal flame. The return of the Lost Ones, three heirs of separate kingdoms that were sent away to Earth's dimension at the very start in order to protect their lineage's legacy. The elder proclaimed that, if they were to return, peace could be negotiated and war prevented.
The missing heir to the Kingdom of the North is discovered in the mortal world along with one from the Eastern Kingdom and one from the Western, disguised as one from the Seaward Kingdom, by scouts of the Seaward and Western Kingdoms. The three no memory of their home and were brought up believing they were orphaned siblings. Upon seeing the face of one of the two Western Empirial heirs, the daughter of the Kingdom of the North realizes - as does the son of the Western - that the two were destined to end the series of wars to be brought on by their fathers. In order to do so, the four must ally themselves with the heirs of the Eastern and Seaward Kingdoms and turn against previous limitations to bestow peace once again.

Kingdoms:
Spoiler
Northern-- comparable to Earth's Arctic; snowy mountains, forests, and valleys, frozen lakes and chilling oceans on either side; more temperate near the southernmost tip of the territory, opposite of the northernmost; scarce wildlife; wolves, wyverns, and polar bear-like creatures among the most prominent; smaller wildlife is nearly never found by humans; monarchy; King Lyont; no Queen; one heir; fairly neutral, but enemies with the Western Kingdom.
Seawards-- completely oceanic; all human life lives beneath the water in a dome-like city; water is breatheable, but limited to Seadwellers; Mediocre wildlife; killer whales, dolphins, and leviathans among the most prominent; smaller wildlife is, once again, sparse among humans; monarchy; King & Queen Miden; two heirs; completely neutral, mutually allied with each kingdom.
Eastern-- comparable to the majority of the U.S.; temperate forests, mountains, valleys, lakes, and rivers; most temperate near the southernmost part of the territory, opposite near the northernmost; Mediocre wildlife; wolves, bears, and bahamuts among the most prominent; smaller wildlife is found by humans, but often not looked for; Parliamentary Monarchy; King & Queen Crios; two heirs; against the Western Kingdom, but mainly neutral otherwise.
Western-- comparable to Earth's mountain country; mainly mountains and charred valleys; volcanoes abundant; mild climate, more temperate towards the north and opposite to the south; scarce wildlife; phoenixes, kitsunes, and red dragons among the most prominent; smaller wildlife is almost never found by humankind; Dictatorship; Emperor & Empress Theon; three heirs; against the northern and eastern kingdoms, looking to overtake the Seawards Kingdom.

Extra Information:
Spoiler
Because of their ability to shift into the creatures listed, the majority of the people avoid eating meat. The exception is that of warriors, who must have such to be able to go on, and the ill. Sacrifices, such as slaying a stated creature, are often used in times of desperation and war, but are not so common in the Northern and Seaward Kingdoms.
