sorry, I fell asleep trying to think. How about a chimp wearing thick, black glasses. Typing on a laptop. Haha I'm kinda low on ideas too. If you can't finish it in times, don't stress about it we'll try really hard next event.

Haha, it's alright. Sleep can do wonders for the mind and skin.
I find that funny, since what I've got so far is actually Nate (in imagined human form, but with glasses!) on his laptop from a view behind and he's turned to look at whomever it is that's looking at him in our view. XD .. Though I've only started about 20 minutes ago, so.
And I know that we could always try hard next event, but this one sort of plays with my pride as an artist. ^^;
It's pretty simple, actually. It just takes times, experience and gut feeling. Most use a tablet and other prefer a mouse. I use the latter. Line and Curve tool are your friends when first trying out. I would get to rest of the basics at a more appropriate time though.
I churned out a writing piece already, based on something that I read from reddit. Tell me what you think?

i bathe in the soup made from my girlfriend's trash
She and I have agreed to take up to living separately. Space, she said. Distance, she said. Moved up right next door as I agreed to please her. I love her like the pleasantry that I am taking in going through my girlfriend's trash. Perfectly normal.
Used makeup. Various food containers. Oh. The Chinese takeaway we had movie night. Some beef. Strange. Thought she was a vegetarian. Certainly not my beef. I had chicken. It sort of smells like her too. Oh! Look, her almost empty water bottles. Should've recycled. I'll take it back later to boil with the rest. This will help us become closer.. it always felt much more intimate. I'll tell her, about it. What I do, I mean. Eventually. When it comes to it. She doesn't have to know. It's not exactly a secret.
She's so beautiful. An album. Her album. Why would she throw it away? Maybe she didn't know. I'll leave it on her balcony tonight. A pleasant surprise she'll have. Shame. She looked so lovely when she was younger. Blonde curls? Doesn't quite suit her like her brunette locks now. A necklace. This was the necklace that I gave her on our four month anniversary. We're so happy at eight months right now.. Hm. Lock's broken. Should've told me. I'll fix it later. Leave it with the album. Yes. That's a good idea. I'll just place it in my pocket for now.
I love her. Very much. I do. Oh, she really needs to pick up on the recycling habit. I'll get her a recycling bin as well. Remind her. It'll be a good thing. She ought to learn to care. Then again..
Her bedroom light is on. Probably working on that college thesis she needs to finish. She's so busy these days. Such a workaholic and so committed. I love her.
I'll just take some more of this and that.. My bag'll fill up with the stuff. Kettle's on right now, making tea. I'll make sure to get to the album and necklace once I finish up here.
I love her.
.. I-I'm not really sure so what I just wrote exactly.. I blame reddit stories.
It's a very good entry but a couple parts are kinda confusing.

What does he mean by that? I really like the tone and voice otherwise. I'm running short on ideas. Should I do something on a rich man, abusive father or mysterious fat widow later or something else?
I almost forgot to tell you. I LOVED the picture. It was easily the best entry. I feel that you/we are headed for a gold in that one.

Well, that part ties in with the title. "i bathe in the soup of my girlfriend's trash". It's from something that I read on reddit. A guy used to be a part of the crazy half of his relationship, and he was a tad bit obsessive. Took her trash out of her.. well, trash, and used it to boil in a soup so he could bathe in it. I should probably make that more clear. ^^;
Anyway, you should try them out all and let your imagination go crazy. Who is your persona's neighbor? What is your persona's opinion of them? Why would they go through their neighbor's trash, then? Keep that in mind as you're thinking on what to write. I like the idea of a mysterious fat widow who's sort of.. desperate, though. I suppose. Gives something to really say, "whhatt?" Or go for something, like a homeless man who's going through trash, and have us reader feel deep, painful sympathy! Maybe his homeless neighbor has something valuable that the persona is willing to steal from his neighbor! What if they are on good friend terms? What if the persona is jealous of his neighbor's possessions, and tries to lie to feel just as important?! So many possibilities! As long as it's interesting~ 8D Like Nora the scumbag-boyfriend killer. (;
And thank you! It's not the clean and layered style that I'm used to, but fingers crossed! XD
Nah. Cannibalism. Not too bad. You just got to set it up well. If it were a poem, it might be funny. Like a modern witches' tale of eating little children. XD I suppose? Just make sure that you really tie it in with the neighbor's garbage thing.
I could make it funny but I'm not sure how to make a poem out of it (poetry is one of my weak points) It (should) come as a suprise, but you'll have to tell me how it goes once I post it.

Well, practice makes perfect, as they say. (Though slightly flawed.) Poetry is like writing a story, in my personal opinion. Just more.. poetic. Haha. It doesn't have to be straight up funny, since it's black humor that I'm suggesting, 'tis all. I shall look forward to seeing it.
Hm. I can't tell if you're joking or not. But it's okay. I possess no powers that may be related to that of the wrath of owls. (Unfortunately.) (As loveable as the creatures are. ) And it would be a shame to lose good competition in the Olympics. 8D
