The phone at my desk rings and I hesitate before picking it up and holding it by my shoulder as I do my work, "This is Astan City Police Department, officer Ryan speaking," I remember what they say in the movies.
I hang up after the people speak and grab my keys, standing, "Robbery on main and fourth again," I tell the sheriff, "heading out. I'll call in if I need back up."
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I jump in my car and turn the sirens on, making my way to the scene. People crowd around the place and I swear, jumping out of the car before making the crowd back up.
What would I do if I were the robber again? Oh yes. I have to make sure the back door is guarded.
I take out my radio and call in, "This is officer Ryan, I need backup, fourth and main, pronto," I speak into it before taking my gun from my holster, glancing in the window.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
She calls in for backup and I take Andy with me to the scene. I remember I'm not in uniform and am forced to stay in the car while my partner and a few others head off to help.
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
We surround the place and Andy comes to stand beside me. Not even giving him a glance, I look inside to see one of my old partners. Sighing, I walk up to it before walking in, the guy turning to me, gun pointed, "Sam?" He asks, lowering it.
I nod before pointing my gun at him, "Put the money down. NOW."
He shakes his head and I give him the death stare, "Dude. I have bakup outside."
He tries to run out the back door and I roll my eyes, shooting his feet. He falls to the ground, swearing, and his gun slides across the room. I take my radio, "You can head in now."
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
They take care of the criminal and I take a deep breath before walking back in the station, connecting my gun back to my belt as I plop down at my desk, starting my paperwork once again.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
There was nothing he enjoyed more than a good book. He'd wander into the study, take down some leather-bound volume, and eat it. — Terence Brady (dog owner)
