Jace

I shake my head, "No reason. Just making sure."

Rayah

I study Jackie and know she wants something. Just saving that question for later, I lead them out and sigh, getting in the car and sitting in the passenger seat.

Jace

I open the door for Jackie and strap the twins in the back, getting behind the wheel once I'm done.

Rayah

Jackie looks at me while we're in the car, "What would you do to get a guy back?"

I chuckle, "Me? I'd dress in a sexy outfit before having a fun night with him..."

"Rayah!"

"Fine, Fine, Um...I'd give him like one hundred reasons why I need him. Why?"

She shrugs, looking back down at her baby, "No reason."

Jace

I cough at what Rayah says, thinking of puppies and bunnies to prevent any corrupted thoughts in relation to it, and pull into Jackie's sister's house.

Rayah

I flash a smile at Jace, getting the reaction I wanted, and get out once we get to her house, looking at Jackie. She gets out, telling me by mind message,Where did Nic go?

I sigh and look at Jace, "Go find Nic?"

Jace

I look between the two before nodding and sighing, "I'll try. God only knows where the b*stard is..."

I get back in the car and head back to their house, dreading having to walk in.

Rayah

I kiss Jace quickly before he leaves, walking inside with Jackie, "You're gonna try to get him back, aren't you?"

She nods and plops down, "Yep."

Jace

I find him in the nursery for Renn, which is shared by Halee as well. He fingers the crib, lost in thought. I walk towards him and sigh, "Jackie wants you to come back to her sister's house to talk."

He doesn't say anything for a while, nodding after a few minutes. I take him back to the car and then to the house, praying this goes well.

Rayah

I hear the car pull in and sigh, standing as I walk into the kitchen, "I'll give you two privacy."

Jace

I lead him in and make sure he doesn't bolt again, following Rayah out of the room to give them space.

I don't know what to do, standing in the middle of the living room and trying to avoid Jackie's gaze.

Rayah

Jace follows me and I smile, leading him into the guest bedroom as I close the door behind us, "I'm staying here for the night," I sigh, "Jackie wants me to stay with her."

Jackie

I watch him, "Why would you do this to me?" I ask calmly, "Why didn't you tell me? I...I just want to ask you that before I make a decision. I just...don't know what to do."

Jace

I study Rayah, "Okay... Well, the kids and I'll stay too. Or Alyx can watch them."

I look at her and sigh, "I've told you, Jacks. I didn't want it to change the way you thought about me. I didn't want it to matter anymore."

Rayah

I shrug and sigh, "Okay then," I look away, "Hopefullt they'll make up."

I nod and look at him, "Okay...I'm sorry then. I didnt mean to tell at you."

Jace

I nod and sit on the bed, "Me too."

I study her before sitting at her side, "I know. I'm sorry I scared you."
