I nod, walking out and jumping in the car. I drive to the nearest resturaunt, around five minutes away. We get there and I scoop up Halee again, shifting her in my left arm while walking in.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I follow Jackie in and pull out her chair for her, taking Halee and sitting her in the high chair at the end of the table. Once sure she's set, I sit down and take a deep breath as I open the menu.
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I thank Nic and open the menu, Halee staring at the salt and pepper shaker like her shaking toy at home. Hesitating, I hand it to her and she sneezes, the pepper getting on her hands. Chuckling, I turn back to the menu, "Mm..." I smile, "Steak for me. Or maybe the lobster. No wait...the crab sounds good too..."
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I laugh a little and sneeze again, "Yeah. No more pepper for her..." I take the pepper away. She makes a cry face and I raise an eyebrow, "Just wait until tommarow. When the mood swings kick in. I will be personal hell for you," I threaten, "Trust me."
She makes a straight face before shutting up and playing with her hands. I nod and take a deep breath, turning foward, "That's what I thought."
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
A waiter comes over and I flash a smile, "Can I have the crab please? And if you have any wine..." I look at the menu, "The--" I remember something, "Nevermind. Water. I'll have a water."
"What will she have?" He looks at Halee.
"Oh she'll have the...grilled cheese," I say, biting my lip, "With chocolate milk."
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
