Wait a second...In Olympus...If someone dies,Lightning strikes. There's no lightning.

I think for a second, "We should take her to the hospital. I just remembered something. C'mon."

Jace

I nod and slowly walk up to Nic, setting a hand on his back, "Nic, we gotta get her to a hospital, okay? They'll try and help her. We have to be fast though. Can you carry her?"

He nods and stands, not once taking his eyes off of her.

Rayah

We get to the hospital and take her to a room, Nic hesitating before setting Jackie's body down on the medical bed. A doctor comes in, looking at me, "What's the problem?"

"Her," I look at Jackie, "What's up with her?"

They check her pulse, a slow, slow, heartbeat, and find that she won't wake up even if they tried.

He sighs, "Coma. Don't know when she'll wake. Don't know if she ever will."

Nic

I shake my head and squeeze Jackie's hand, hating this uncertainty. Glancing at Jace, i swallow and hope he gets what I want. He, the doctor, and Rayah walk out of the room and leave me with my wife.

Jackie

How come I can't wake up? This is horrible.

Staying still, I can't move a muscle, feeling paralyzed.

Nic

I swallow, looking down at our hands and stroking the back of it with my thumb, "Jacks... just... I need you to be okay. I need you to wake up soon. Halee needs you..."

Jackie

I think of something, wondering if he can get mind messages.

I can't control this, Nic. Even if I try.

Nic

A faint whisper of hers snakes through my mind and I look up at her and realize it's all in my head, "I know, Jacks. I just... I just wish none of today happened. I wish that a**h*le hadn't used that on you..."

Jackie

Wanting to talk aloud so bad, the only movement I can get is a twitch of my hand.

I'll be fine...Hopefully. Keep positive thoughts. Alright?

Nic

I flash a smile and nod, kissing her hand and moving to set my arm underneath her head, "I will, I promise. I'll bring Halee to come see you too. She needs that."

Jackie

I smile inwardly.

Haha. You know, people walking by probrably think you're crazy 'cause you're talking to a girl that is asleep.

Nic

I smile and kiss the side of her face, "Nah, I've seen people do this in movies all the time."

Jackie

I let a sigh escape my lips and twitch my hand again.

Movies, N. We're not in a movie. But it's pretty awesome.

Nic

I smile and look down at her hand as it twitches, loosening my grip on it, "Awesome? If you say so..."

Jackie

I sigh again.
