I decided to dress elegant but causal, I stood in front of a mirrior and did a 360 spin to see all sides. I looked perfect in demin jeans, a blouse a light summer jacket, my hair perfectly straight and the only make up I was wearing was lip gloss and a touch of mascara. I didn't cake my whole face in make up like other girls did, I didn't enjoy doing that, I felt like I was clown if I did. I soon left out but not before running into Tahira who the first thing out of her mouth was.
"Who are you going out with?" She asked.
"I ain't going out with anyone, just meeting up with a friend." I said.
"A boy friend?" She snikered.
"No... I'm just meeting up with a friend." I said.
I soon walk by her hoping I wasn't as hot as I felt or I wasn't blushing as bad as I hoped, I make way down the steps of the palace and towards to the baseball diamond where I hoped Logan was waiting for me.

I finally make it to the diamond and see Logan ahead, running was never my strong suit. I tired out quickly when I didn't feel like I was in battle, I took deep breaths then looked up. I was a mess that was for sure.

Once I catched my breath I stood straight and looked around for any sign of his parents, I never had to worry about mine thankfully because dad was far to busy these days.

I'm lead to a small cavern that couldn't be any where obvious, I hadn't even knew it was here. I looked around as he pulls me though the small opening, what a place this was.
"Wow..." I said breathlessly.

I flash a smile and nod, looking around too, "My dad found it when he was first sent here. You know about his story, right? Well, anyway, his house used to sit right in front of this and he'd come here to just be alone with his thoughts. It's where I come to just be alone."

I didn't know why, but my heart pounded so hard in my chest I thought Logan could hear it. But he didn't seem to notice it, he looked around the small cavern before finally taking a seat at the far wall. I join him, sitting cross legged, you can actually see the sky though a small opening in the cavern. I guess it was where all the light was coming though.
