I try to even my breathing, squeezing my eyes shut. This is what love feels like? I pull away for a second and kiss him quickly one more time before burying my face in his neck. ...If it is...I like the feeling.

Jace

She pulls away for a second before kissing me quickly once more. She pulls back again and buries her face in my neck. I flash a smile and keep my eyes closed, holding her. Let's just stay like this forever...

Rayah

"I love you...So much right now," I whispered, holding him tight.

Jace

I flash a smile and hold her as tight as she holds me, "Me too, Ray. God, me too..."

Rayah

I remove my face from his neck and flash a smile, standing. "I um...Gotta go," I say, sliding my hands in my pockets.

Jace

I stay where I am, wondering what brought that on, and nod before looking down.

"Okay... Can I see you later then?" I ask, not wanting to press where she's going unless she wants me to know.

Rayah

I nod and kiss him before grabbing my bag and jacket. "Bye. I'll call you later. Or you can call me. Doesn't matter," I sigh. I wave before dissapearing out the door and start walking towards The Main Court.

Jace

She kisses me before leaving. I sigh and sit back against the wall, Nic coming out of his room and sitting beside me. Alyx appears, dog form, and curls up at my feet.

"You two ought to be quieter when doing all that stuff," Nic says, disgusted, "Or get a room..."

Rayah

When I get to The Main Court I go to the Driver's Ed part and walk up to the counter. "Hey. I was told I'm getting my lincense today..." I say.

"What's you're name?" The lady asks, typing on her conputer.

"Rayah Sparx," I reply,

She nods and looks through a folder before pulling it out. "Here."

I nod and flash a huge smile, taking it. "Thank you."

I walk out, squealing of joy, and jump in the car my dad got me, driving to Jace's house.

Jace

"It's my house," i remind Nic, "If you don't like it, head home."

"Can't," he says, "Mortals can't use portals unattended."

Alyx growls and nibbles on Nic's shoe, bored out of his mind. I hear the sound of a car and wonder who decided to show up.

Rayah

I beep outside of Jace's house and roll down my window in wait for him to come outside.

Jace

Someone beeps and I stand, confused. Alyx takes my notebook in his jaws and trots off somewhere. I shake my head and head outside, finding Rayah behind the wheel of a car. I smile and head towards the window.

"What's this?" I ask, "You got your license?"

Rayah

I nod, smiling. "Yep."

I press a button and the roof moves down like a convertible. I tilt my sunglasses down and nod. "Sweet, Huh?"

Jace

I smile and hop in the passenger seat, "Very."

Rayah

I smile and speed off in it, singing along with the radio as I do. I drive past the lake, flashing a smile at Jace as I do.
