Mount Olympus

Rayah

I smile and am just about to fall asleep when I hear music blasting from across the street. I open my eyes and get a text.

Party at my place, all cheerleaders invited, see you there? - Fray

I sigh and sit up. "I gotta show up somewhere," I show him the texts. "You guys can come if you want. It's a Saterday night anyways," I yawn. "And I need to get hyper or I'll fall asleep."

Jace

I sigh, tired myself.

"You go," I flash a smile at her, "I haven't slept much in the past few days. I need to catch up."

Rayah

I nod and flash a smile, standing. "I'll be back in five minutes. I just need to show up," I say, grabbing my jacket and walking out.

Jace

I nod and watch her leave. Nic sighs and crawls to the couch, staying on the floor as he looks at me.

"You want Alyx and I to fly the coop so you can sleep?" he asks.

I flash a smile but shake my head, "You can stay as long as you want. Take him to the spare room. It's down the hall. There's two beds in there so you both have to share."

He nods and scoops up my brother, carrying him away. I curl up on the couch, wrapping a blanket around me, and close my eyes in hopes of finding sleep.

Rayah

I enter the party and say hi to all my friends by the pool, dipping my feet in for a while. Two of the football players come out and smile at us.

"Who wants to take a swim?" They chuckle, walking towards us.

I shake my head and smile playfully. "Don't you dare!" I laugh.

They chuckle and scoop me up, tossing me in the pool. I swim up and shake my hair out. "Seriously?"

I get out and shake my head, "I'm heading home. I'll see you guys later."

I walk back over to Jace's place, opening the door and lock it once I get in. I remember I brought an extra bag with clothes and I change into a tank top and sweats, throwing my wet hair into a ponytail as I lay next to him.

Jace

Someone lays next to me and I subconsciously wrap my arms around them, hoping it's not Nic or Alyx. I smile, stirring in my sleep, and rest my head in their neck.

Rayah

I smile and close my eyes, kissing him goodnight before drifting off into sleep.

Jace

I dream of home, back before it was bad, and hold whoever's in my arms closer, completely content.

Rayah

I wake up the next morning but don't open my eyes, huffing a sigh. I kiss the side of Jace's face subcontiously and turn so I'm on my back as the rays of sunlight hit me.

Jace

I wake to the kiss on the cheek. Opening my eyes, I find Rayah laying next to me. I flash a smile and kiss her cheek back, yawning afterwards. I don't speak though, noticing how she hasn't opened her eyes.

Rayah

I smile at Jace and flutter my eyes open, turning my head to face him. "I would sit up, but I'm to lazy," I chuckled, yawning.

Jace

I smile back at her and stretch my arms, "Same here."

Rayah

I smile and yawn again, glancing. "I fell asleep here. Hope you didn't mind," I whisper.

Jace

I smile and shake my head, kissing her forehead, "Nah, why would I mind?"

Rayah

I shrug and kiss him softly. "Where's Nic and Alyx?" I ask midkiss.
