Jace

I nod and take a deep breath, glaring at Alyx, "Fix everything. You and Nic. I want it done before I get back."

Rayah

I watch Jace lecture Alyx and take his hand, waiting for when he's ready.

Jace

Alyx nods, avoiding eye contact with me, and I lead Rayah out of the house, her hand in mine. How the hell does one person do that much?

Rayah

Jace leads me out and to my house. I lead him upstairs to my room and shut the door behind us, going straight to my closet.

Jace

Rayah takes me to her house and upstairs, going straight for the closet. I sit on the bed and take a deep breath, clearing my mind of what happened.

Rayah

I walk into the closet and close the door behind me, changing into a tight, short, gold dress that used to be my mom's. I walk back out, taking a deep breath, "What do you think? I'll have heels on, just keep that in mind..." I remind him, looking in my full body mirror against the wall.

Jace

Oh...my...god...

"You're beautiful," I say in a whisper, flashing a smile.

Rayah

I turn around to face him, smiling back, "You really think so?"

Jace

I smile and nod, "I do. You really are."

Rayah

I nod, motioning him towards me, "Can I have a kiss?" I say, needing one, "It'll help me decide on a dress," I lie, smirking.

Jace

I flash a smile and stand, walking towards her. Wrapping my arms around her, I set my forehead against hers, "It will, huh?"

Rayah

I smile innocently and nod, "Yes, it will," I wrap my arms around his neck.

Jace

I smile back and kiss her, closing my eyes.

Rayah

He kisses me and I kiss back, closing my eyes as well.

Jace

I pull her closer and flash a smile.
