She heads off and I wait until she's out of sight to stand and head a way I'd never let anyone else know of. I pass through my backyard and into the slight cavern of vines there is, sitting in the middle of the stone opening and closing my eyes.
Love is misery. 'Tis but a dream it exists.
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I finish around thirty minutes later, sweating my a*s off, and take my phone out of my pocket, texing Jace.
Done. I'm by the lake.
I plopped down in the sand, the sun setting. I dip my toes in the water, closing my eyes for a second. But I catch a glimpse of someone. I open my eyes quickly and see the guy from my dream just walking up and down the beach..Holy. Sh*t.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I'm almost to the lake, finding Rayah talking to another guy, before Alyx comes across and stops me, looking horrified.
"Take a break," he whispers, "Go home. Nic wanted to see you. It's urgent. I'll get Rayah and tell her what happened."
I study him before looking back at Rayah and nodding, the lyrics to that same song ringing around my head. I turn back to the house and step through the door as Alyx heads off to Rayah.
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
"It's a private matter," I say, crossing my arms and glancing at the kid, "It's about Jace. No offense to the gentlemen to your left, but I'd rather not discuss my baby brother in front of a complete stranger."
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I nod before looking over at Trevor, "Gimme you're hand."
He holds it out, confused. I write my name and then my number. "I need to talk to you later. Like, I really do. Text me in around an hour or something."
He nods, smiling, and runs off. I look back at Alyx. "Tell me."

"You're digging his grave, I hope you know that," I say, arms crossed, "You don't see the way he looks at you."
I swallow and look away.
"Both your dreams were troubling," I say, "I apologize for wandering in both your minds, but I had a bad feeling. Turns out it worked in my advantage."
Pausing, I take a deep breath, looking where the kid went.
"I want you to decide now, what you want," I say, looking back at her, "'Cause there's no point in hurting my brother if it's not him. It's already starting, I've seen it before. The children inside you bind you to Jace, but there's no point in a connection if it's not mutual. I meant what I said about you digging his grave. I made sure he didn't remember that end to his dream..."

I stare at him, wide-eyed, "I wasn't..." I cross my arms, "Look. I just want to know who he is and why he was in my dream. It's creeping me out. There's no way in hell I'm leaving Jace, considering I kind of have his kids inside me," I tell him, "I just want answers," I said, walking off.
