Kaboom! Amusement Park

Jace

I swallow and try to calm down, not letting Rayah go.

Rayah

He doesn't let me go and I become even more worried. "Jay, you're alright."

Jace

I close my eyes and take deep breaths, clearing the voices out one by one. Once they're gone, I release Rayah but wish she would stay close.

Rayah

I flash a smile but stay by his side, sighing. I grab his hand to let him know I wouldnt leave.

Jace

I flash a relieved smile at her and keep my eyes closed, trying to keep my breathing even for my mind's sake.

"Just a few more minutes," the hooded guy says, "I'm Mark, by the way."

Rayah

I want to kiss him so badly but keep it distant, feeling bad for him. "Just relax," I tell him.

Jace

I look at Rayah, wanting her to stop worrying, but say nothing. Mark checks the pulse on my wrist and nods, heading back to the counter.

"You should be well now," he reports.

Rayah

I flash a smile and nod, relieved. "Good."

Jace

Mark nods and scoops up the little girl, "I'll be going then. You'll be able to come in contact with me if you ever want that playdate."

Rayah

I smile and nod, looking over at Mark. "Okay. Thanks."

Jace

Mark nods and disappears without a word. I look at Rayah, "Who the hell was that?"

Rayah

I shake my head, "Don't worry about that right now," I whisper, still slightly worried.

Jace

I look back at her, confused, and study her, "I-I'm okay now, Ray. Don't worry about it."

Rayah

I nod, flashing a relieved smile. "Goodie, now give me a kiss," I chuckle, closing my eyes and pointing to my lips.

Jace

I flash a smile and softly kiss her.
