Kain ignores me, which bothers me for some reason. The man he's talking to talks about wanting to go to heaven and I suppress a smirk, knowing how much this might get under his skin.
"The Father doesn't care about just one mistake, unless that one mistake turned you away from him," I sit next to the man and order a club soda, "He accepts those for who they are. It is the Council of Angels that are hard to deal with, but you wouldn't have to deal with them unless you were an angel, which I doubt since you're sitting in the biggest demon knucklehead of history's presence."

Grayson peraching of god gets under my skin badly as I litterily feel my skin crawling with what he had just said. I urged my spear to appear and lobed it in Graysons direction as it barely misses face.
"Grayson shut that holy mouth of yours!" I said with an irrated tone.
An angel, a knight, a man who will bring light to where there is only darkness, I am the Morning Star, the Bringer of Light, hail to me as I am King Lucifer!
The one person who addressed me shot a spear at the other beside me, barely missing his head and almost scraping my left shoulder. My hand shook at this, knowing all too well that even a being like myself was never a good shot when furious. At hearing the other person- Grayson, as the first one said- say that my mistake would be counted against me if I turned away from God, I could've sworn I heard my own heart pound against my chest for the first time in over seven millennia. So there was a chance I could find redemption and go to heaven where I deserved to go. I turned my gaze to Grayson. "After that mistake I made, I had to change my ways for redemption. In fact, I wore a cross around my neck after I paid a visit to a church. From time to time, I would listen to the nightly sermons and read the verses of the sermons. When a priest found me centuries before I settled down in a city far from here, I confessed of my mistake and asked for forgiveness. Seven years after that, the priest refused to let me inside the church because I was a vampire. It's not my fault I'm like this. Honestly. If I was willing to end up like this, I would've been staked long ago. All I keep asking for is forgiveness of that one mistake I made. I turned my back on the gods of my youth and converted. I have this to prove it." I showed the necklace I hid for so long. No vampire knew I had it, not even my mate or daughter.

Look down and show some mercy if you can. Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.
I stare at the spear in front of me as the vampire speaks, trying to contain myself in front of this gentlemen. He shows me the cross around his neck and I nod slowly.
"You should have nothing to worry for then," I say, biting my tongue, "It is the Church who have gone against abnormalities. Our Father said nothing against supernatural beings."
I take a deep breath and pull the spear from the bar, balancing it in my hands as I look at Kain.
"A little drunk, dear brother? You've missed your target and lost your toy," I smirk, "If you can talk darkness, what stops me from talking light?"

"Shut up Grayson, your in the wrong neighberhood to be preaching his word. I sooner kill you myself even if your my brother." I said drawing my sword.

I took this as a chance to run while I had the chance. I slipped away and ran out the door, holding my cross in one hand. Once I was sure I was away from the tavern, I walked around through the neighborhood. I still wanted to go to heaven when someone finally manages to stake me, but question was what would be counted against me more. That mistake of taking innocent blood or all those guilty men I killed to stay alive? I needed redemption after that one little mistake I made. I was guilty enough to know that I killed an innocent mortal when I shouldn't have, but I wanted redemption from that mistake. For seven millennia and two years, I was already in hell. Now I wanted out of this hell I was living in and find peace after all this suffering.

Red, your use of redemption is getting kind of annoying now! No offence...
I got up. This had gone on long enough. I started walking over to the dueling two brothers, my spidery, long legs taking me there quite quickly. Halfway there, my body detached itself into fragments in mid-stride and I flashed to the demons side in an instant. He didn't look up, just kept sparing with Greyson. But I could tell I got their attention when I slipped an arm in, between their swords, and in one swift, undeciferable movement, had both swords in my hands. I stuck both on the wood floor below. " You both find a damn arena please. This is obviously not one." They looked surprised. Then, the demon pulled out a long knife from his boot and chucked it at Greyson.

[spoiler]It's a sword he pulled out! And Kain doesn't have a knife strapped to his boot, please change that[/spolier]
"Out of my way, this is none of your damn business!" I yell.
White hot fire formed in my hand and I thrusted it at her catching her in the face. It blows up and sends her flying back into the wall and landing breaking a table in half, I transform into my full on demon form. Black Emerald armor with twisted down horns on the helmet and my obsidon spear once more at my side, my obsidon sword drawn.
"Now shut that holy mouth of yours Grayson!" I said my voice becoming metalic.

A sword? Really? Wonderful. The one weapon I don't have with me upon escaping from Hell.
I stare at my brother before using the nearest stool to knock the sword out of his hands. After it's all clear, I charge him, then trip. The last thing I hear is the smacking of bone before everything goes dark.

As I walked through the neighborhood, I thought about that night I tasted innocent blood. If it weren't for Celeste, I would've been as worse as the Bloodlust Twins. Celeste saved me from going insane and I repaid my debt by freeing her from the Bloodlust Twins. If there was a heaven for a vampire as kind-hearted and repentant as myself, then I want to be there when someone manages to finally stick a stake through my heart. I wandered around more, quietly letting my mind wander off with me.

She never felt comfortable in a house, layers of brick surrouding her; trapping her inside. She pushes herself out the front door, a gush of air winding her, but she felt happier outside. Maybe moving to this place was a bad move, but her only choice. She takes a second glance at hers new home, simple and small. One bedroom and sparse trees behind it. With a grimace she turns away, noticing a small yet busy bar. She could sense there were other supernatural beings in there which causes a smile to light up her sunkissed, freckled face; well at least she wasn't alone.
She makes her way to the inn, hesitating in the doorway she looks around at the array of people, tilting her head to the side slightly and expression of unease on her face. She hadn't really spoken to many people in a while and didn't know where to start, running a small hand through her thick, curly, fiery auburn hair she walks up to the bar and looks around; looking for the barman and biting her bottom lip; she sure needed a good drink right about now.

"Way to go idiot! You knocked us both out! Are you stupid or just clumsy? Cause how in hell do you trip, fall, and hit me knocking me out exactly?" I said my voice a boom.
I was in my human form, Grayson had managed to trip and fall straight into me, knocking me out, Now because of our damn empathy link we were in the dream world stuck with each other. And worse of all, I was forced into my human form for the dream world. God was Grayson stupid and clumsy or what? We circled each other as we were in an endless field going in either direction.

I blink a few times and find Kain standing before me. The world around us was a mixture of black and white, flickering every so often. What the hell...
"Way to go idiot! You knocked us both out! Are you stupid or just clumsy? Cause how in hell do you trip, fall, and hit me knocking me out exactly?" Kain booms, seething.
I circle him as he circles me, the hairs on the back of my neck standing straight up.
"Uh, I just did," I reply, "And I'm not stupid! Forgive me for tripping after ten long years in your home sweet home, brother!"
