Ella

I nod and flash a smile, "S'cool."

Ian

I shrug, flashing a smile, "It's not so nice where I grew up though. Worst part of the country."

Ella

I sigh and bite my lip, "Why?"

Ian

"It's just run down," I glance at her, "And there isn't much law enforcement, so everything is out of hand."

Ella

I nod and glance at him as well, "I-I'm Ella. You are?"

Ian

I flash a smile, "Innocenzo. But everyone calls me Ian. The former is a little too... old fashioned for my taste."

Ella

I nod, "My name is old fashioned too. My...father wasn't around at the time, so my mom just picked. S'complicated."

Ian

I nod, "I like that name. It suits you."

Ella

I study him, "How?"

Ian

I sigh, "'Cause the name means bright or light. You seem bright and, the few times you've attempted to smile, you've shown your inner light. If... if that makes sense."

Ella

I chuckle at him, "Your right about it meaning light part..."
I practically control it...

Ian

I smile and study her before focusing on where we're walking, "Like I said, it fits."

Ella

I nod and sigh, "I guess so..."

Ian

She shifts moods so quickly... I wonder why. I lead her to the door of the grocery store and glance at the daycare beside it before looking at her, "Here' we are."

Ella

I nod and bite my lip, "Thanks."
