I laugh a little. “Well I am so glad I amuse you.” I say. I get on my knees and cover both of us up with the blanket. Alex grabs me by the waist and pulls me by his side. We fit perfectly together. My head lays on his arm and his other arm sit on my waist.

She covers the both of us with the blanket and I pull her beside me, one arm underneath her head and the other around her waist. It's as if we were made for each other. I set my forehead against hers and find that it didn't even feel like the same day anymore. Everything with Jason doesn't register as happening in the last few hours. It seems ages ago instead.

We lay there looking at each other. I cannot stop think about how luck I am to have met someone like him. “Do you remember the first day I met you?” I ask.
He nods.
“Why did you come and tap me on the shoulder?” I ask.

I laugh. “That did not work out very well for you then.” I shrug at his question. “I do not know. I was just thinking if you did not tap me on the shoulder and if I did not almost break your arm, we would not be here right now.”

I wake up in his arms around me just like they were when I feel asleep. I kiss his cheek to wake him up. He smiles at me and kisses me. “Good morning.” He says.
“Morning.” I say sitting up.
He pulls me back down and kisses me. “How did you sleep?” he asks.
“Great, you?” I ask.
“Same.” He says. He kisses me again.
“If I do not get up now, we will never leave.” I say.
“I do not see a problem with that.” He says.
I laugh. “My parents are sending me money today, so I need to go check my bank account. Will you come with me?” I ask.

I roll my eyes and pull him up. I kiss him and do not pull away for a few minutes. “Come on we have to go.” I put my shoes on and head out the door. He puts his arms around me as we walk and I lead the way to the bank. The building stands alone and there are many steps to get to the entrance. We walk hand in hand up the stair and into the gold door. We walk to the front door and stand in line and wait for a person to talk to. A lady tells me to come over.
“I am here to check my bank account.” I tell her.
“Name?” She asks.
“Taylor Lockwood.” I say.
“Oh yes Ms. Lockwood your parents sent money and a message for you. The message says, 'We love and miss you. We will replace the money in you bank account every month. If you need more money call.'” She says
The gun shots fire. “Everyone get on the floor.” A man in a black ski masks screams. I grab Alex's hand and we hit the floor. I shield me and I bury my face in his shoulder. My heart beat increases and I start to cry. I am panicking.

As soon as we get to the bank and Taylor finds out what she wants to, gunshots go off and she pulls me to the ground. I take her in my arms, shielding her from any harm, and she hysterically begins to cry.
"It's alright," I whisper, trying to calm her, "We'll be fine. I promise."
"Just give us the money and no one gets hurt!" the gunman yells.
Oh sh*t. Don't think like a hero, Alex. Don't think like a hero. Be a coward. That works in your favor. Just a coward. Don't -
One of the gunmen comes closer and I set Taylor aside, my body not even mine anymore. Before I can stop myself, I tackle one of them and knock the gun out of their hands. It isn't until two gunshots and a heck of a lot of pain later that I finally realize how stupid this was.
