The Town Plaza

Ella

I blink a couple times before just shutting the door and not answering. Rolling my eyes, I form my father's really strong light sheild around the walls and third layers against the door, "I have no idea where your brother is," I say through it, "Now leave us alone."

Ian

I flash a smile and sit up, sighing.

Tahira

So they haven't seen Tyler, which only makes me more concerned that something had happened to him. But first I had to secure Ella and move Ian, I take my sword and swing it off my back and cut though the door only to hit a barrior, except this time, my sword wasn't cutting it. Wonderful, how was I going to go about breaking this one? I took a few steps back charging my lightning up, I run forward and slam my shoulder into the barrio. Lightning surges though me and into the barrior, but it wasn't budging, cracks formed but healed just as fast as they appeared. I back up again recharging my lightning this time I activated my true power, my mothers Black Lightning. I charge forward again, this time a lot more power behind me.

Ella

She tries to break down the wall and I watch her struggle before paling when I see black lightning. I back up and she breaks it, the light shattering before falling on the ground Into glass, "Great," I say, looking at her, "Look what you did. Your cleaning this up."

Ian

Kyle comes out of his room, making ready to cry again. I rush to him just as the light shield breaks. Shielding him, I scoop him up and then walk to Ella. What the hell? This is so freaking ridiculous...

Tahira

That took a lot of energy to preform, I fall to one knee my chest heaving from exsuatstion. I was not used to using my mom's black lightning, it still drained me to the point of passing out. But I held myself together as heavy footsteps climb the stairs and stop behind me.

"What have, you been?" I ask between breaths.

Ella

I watch her before calming Kyle, "Sh, alright, buddy."

Ian

Kyle soon calms with Ella near, but cuddles deeper into my chest.

Tyler

I sigh and help my sister up, signing to her once I do. Got caught up. What did you do now?

Tahira

"I did nothing! It's just I was following contract orders, Ian had to move him, then I was going to go and find you since it normally doesn't take that long to scout out a small district." I said.

I had regained my breath after a few seconds, after so, Tyler lets me go. I look at the glass on the floor, if its made of light, then darkness should destroy it right? Doesn't matter now, time to proceed on.

"Alright, Ian find another room to be in." I said standing up.

Ella

I frown, This is so freaking unfair! I sit on the floor, cross legged, and pout.

Ian

Kyle moves to latch onto Ella's arms, shaking his head, "My son needs to be around a mother figure and I'm not about to leave his side. I don't understand why I have to leave. Things will be kept PG. I'm not about to have thing in front of my three year old. That's disgusting."

Tyler

I sigh and shake my head, letting Tahira handle things.

Tahira

"Yea? What about after he goes to sleep, all you got to do is make sure she stuffs a sock in it, and she'll be as quiet as the night. I'm under contract, and it's what I gotta do, now shut up and make things easy for the both of us." I said.

Ella

I take Kyle in my arms and sigh, staying silent.

Ian

The note burns in my pocket, reminding me of everything up against my son. I stand and shake my head, "This is f**king ridiculous. I'm an adult. She's an adult. And it is absolutely nauseating to think that you believe that I'd do anything of the sort in front of my freaking three year old. I'm not some son of a b**ch who would make any girl into a wh**e around my son. Disgusting."

I nearly roll my eyes, leaning against the door frame.

Tahira

"Go tell that to Rayah up on Mount Olympus, and until that part of the contract changes, I'm doing my job, and right now I'm getting ticked off and I'm ready to start swinging." I said.

Ian may have been taller than me, but I was tough, I stood against him we were in each others faces. My fingers curled and ready to start a fight that he wasn't going to win, I wasn't going to take any crap from some guy who thought he could push me around and get what he wants.
