Apa bites his lip too, looking down at me for a little before glancing at her, "I... My rent... I'll have to take from it to help him though. If it isn't too much, c-could Kyle and I stay here for a little?"

Ella

I nod, "S'Fine. Sure," I flash a small smile.

Kyle

He studies her before I move to cuddle on her lap, yawning, "Thank you. I'm sorry about all this again..."

Ella

I shake my head and stand, scooping Ky up to bring him to his new room for a nap, "No problem."

Ian

I watch her take Kyle before glancing over the note again, checking my online bank account to see how tight money will be after this. I didn't think about Luce. Will I have to take care of him now? I can't handle looking after two people... Ky's a handful on good days and worse on bad.

Ella

Once he's asleep, I come back out and sit at his side, studying him.

Ian

I slip the note away once I'm done thinking and flash a smile at Ella, not sure what to say.

Ella

He smiles at me and I rest my arms on my knees, sighing.

Ian

I twine a hand with hers and sigh, studying her.

Ella

I smile and sigh sliding on his lap.

Ian

I smile back and wrap my arms around her, kissing the top of her head.

Ella

I rest my face on his chest and sigh, "Stupid contract..."

Ian

I raise my eyebrow, "Wait... what contract?"

Ella

"that thing," I say, "That we can't do anything. Those people came and told us."

Ian

Oh yeah. I sigh, kissing the top of her head again, "Well... what if we went to my apartment? If that's what you want, I mean..."
