Kira Nemesis

The small spirt in my hand as a man with a dog's hand walks appear's out of seemingly no where.

"Forgive me Kira some outside force was keeping me out." He said.

"Then I'm guessing that was not you then? I'll find out who it is later." I said handing him the spirt.

"Loyal to your duties as ever I see, who knows what Fidelis will say if he found out about this." He said.

"I have all of eternity to have children, I am not ready and I have duties to fullfil." I said.

He nods as he disappear's with the spirt and then everything goes black.

Jamie

I don't know what to say. I don't want to justify suicide, don't want to make her think it's okay, but don't want to say that what my wife did was wrong...even if it seems so.

"That wasn't my question," I say, looking up at Riley.

Brooklyn

Riley looks up at Jamie. "I would let it go and man up," she responds.

"Rayah, you need to help me with this," She says, looking at me. I nod slowly. "Don't call me that." I say, picking up the note again. I read it over once more. "This is very threatening." I say, shocked.

She nods, "It wouldn't be if you would've not have known..."

Jamie

I study Riley, looking away after a few moments, and think about what I would do.

"When you love someone," I say, almost in a whisper, "you'll do anything for them, anything to be with them. It hurts some, yes, Riley. But what kind of mother would she have been after what happened? She'd be caught up in the past, dazed, constantly questioning why it happened to her family. You can't tell me that you'd want to live that way."

Brooklyn

Riley looks up at her father. "What?" She smirks. "Mom would've gotten over it."

I look up at her, "I would not have. I would be complaining to you guys for like...forever. If anything, I would be...depressed and ticked off for the rest of my life."

She looks at me weirdly, "Okay your not as tough as I thought you were...." She says, ploping down on her bed. "Anways, dad wouldn't have done the same thing because he's manly and doesn't hurt himself or burn stuff for no reason." she looks at me when She says the last part and I shrug.

"Burning things are fun." I look back at the note.

Jamie

I don't respond to what she says right away.

"I wouldn't because I wouldn't let her get hurt by anyone besides herself," I say.

Brooklyn

Before Riley could say anymore I spoke. "Hey, Do you still have that dagger I gave you?"

She nods and reaches under her bed. Pulling it out. "Put some energy in that. It'll help you if you run out too easily."

She nods and sighs, doing as I say. My eyed widen when I realize something. "Where's Logan?"

Jamie

I swallow, worried too, but know that Logan doesn't want to see me.

"Stormed out, remember?" I say, "Probably out in the garden still."

Brooklyn

I nod slowly and look at Riley. She swallows. "We're not going to the party...are we?"

I shake my head, "Nope." I say, disappointed. "I need to get some sleep," I tell her. "You do too. It's night and I'm tired." I say, walking back into me and Jamie's room. I lay on the bed, sighing and take a deep breath.

Jamie

I shift uneasily on my feet in the bedroom door.

"I'll be right back," I tell Brooklyn.

I walk down the stairs and pull my hood up, knowing how big of a headache the sun would give me. Swallowing, I take a deep breath before walking into the backyard and towards the garden. Logan just sits there, his head in his hands. He doesn't notice when I take the spot next to him, or chooses not to.

"C-can we talk?" I ask, drawing my arms insecurely around my chest.

Logan

Someone sits next to me and I look down. "Whatever." I say, sniffling. "Talk."

Brooklyn

Jamie leaves, probrably off to find Logan. I sigh and close my eyes, falling asleep.

Jamie

I swallow and hesitate, looking around first.

"I-I get why you might hate me," I say in a soft voice, "I-I wasn't there for you. When I did show up, Alyx..."

I take a deep breath.

"I-I'm sorry. Believe what you want, but know that I'm sorry."

Logan

"Momma told us...When we were five...She told us you guys would never leave us," I
Say, glancing up at him. "I-I just don't know if anything is gonna happen to you guys...I don't want it to happen again. I-I saw my own mother die infront of me..." I said, holding back any emotion.

Jamie

I set a hand on his shoulder, the skin tingling from the sun hitting it, and look at him.

"Nothing's going to happen again," I say, "People aren't given second chances just to have life screw them over again. I wasn't given my family back just to be taken away from it."

Logan

I nod, looking up at him. "It's really weird though... I uh, Kinda dated Brooklyn for a couple weeks..." I bite my lip, chuckling.
