Once I get into Riley's room she slams the door and looks at me, crossing her arms.

"So...I'm confused." She says, sighing.

I nod, "Me too. What are you confused about?"

"All of it. So your my....mom now?" She asks, a weird expression across her face.

I shake my head quickly. "Hell no. I'm fifteen." I said, crossing my arms.

She nods, "Okay good."

I nod back before picking up her guitar and playing a couple notes. She looks at me. "I never knew you could play guitar," She tells me, sitting beside me, watching.

I nod, flashing a smile. "Played my whole life."

I sit on the edge of the bed in the room I'm in and look up as the boy, Logan, walks in. He sits hesitantly at my side, his arms awkwardly crossed over his chest.

"You're my father," He whispers.

"Part of me is," I answer, "I'm not sure how this works."

He nods and looks up at me.

"Then why did you leave us?" he asks.

"Lo, that's enough for now," Alyx says from the doorway, "Give him time, space. I told you."

His eyes set sadly on me and I stop digging for an answer to Logan's question.

You know. Why did I leave?

Once I finished a song on the guitar I remembered. "The party! We're missing it!" I said, standing. She swears and quickly puts on makeup. I run into the bathroom and borrow one of Riley's shirts, surprised I'm the same size as her. I run out and throw my parents car keys in my pocket. "C'mon," I tell her. She looks at me weirdly again. "Wait, doesn't there have to be a grown up in the car with you in order to drive?"

I shrug, "Who cares? I got my parents keys. Now lets go." I say opening the door and run out, Riley following.

Logan leaves the room and Alyx steps out for a moment after someone slams the front door shut.

"Lo, don't let them get into any trouble," he whispers, "They always bring it back."

Logan chuckles and rushes out after them. Alyx returns and sits where Logan had, looking at me.

"I'm sorry," he whispers, running a hand through my hair as if he doesn't believe it's real, "I promised you and Rayah I'd take care of them, and I have. I didn't let them forget you two though. I made sure they remembered."

I jumped in the car slamming the door. "Okay...what do I do now?" I ask, glancing at all the controls.

Riley sees her brother come out and pulls the shift. I nod, "Right."

I press the gas and drive backwards out of the driveway, looking back as I do. I put it back to regular and speed off, Riley holding her seat. "God, Slow down." She says. O shake my head, "Hell no! This is awesome!"

Alyx takes his hand back and looks away, standing.

"Get some rest, okay?" he flashes a smile, "It's daylight out."

I watch him leave and close the door before laying down and kicking my shoes off. Curling underneath the blanket, more memories hit me.

As I'm driving someone texts me. "Ooh! A text!" I laugh, picking it up and texting back. Riley glares at me and slaps my phone away. "No texting and driving," She says. I roll my eyes and drive into the party and put on the parking breaks. I jump out and knock on the door. Vanessa opens it and says, "You guys are early."
I sigh, "I thought it was at ten?"
"At night..." She says, shifting awkardly.
I nod, "Ah. Fail." I walk away and get back in the car and Riley sits beside me.
"Fail, Brooke. Fail."

Logan comes back inside as I sit on the couch and makes sure all the blinds are closed. He sits across from me and sighs, watching as I lay down.

"I don't want you asking him that again," I close my eyes, setting my jacket over my head to shield my eyes from any form of light, "Even if he does remember... It's not something he should answer. It'll hurt him, okay? Just let him settle into everything."

"Can you tell me then?" he asks.

I sigh and cross my arms over my chest.

"No."

Once we get home, I walk inside awkwardly, all the blinds closed. I sit across from Alyx, sighing. Riley smirks and sits next to me. "Told you it was at night," She taunts.

I punch her in the arm playfully and look at Alyx. "Thanks again.

I silently groan, wishing I'd gone in my room instead of here.

"I don't know what you're thanking me for," I say, eyes still closed, "And I'd appreciate some sleep."

I roll my eyes and flash a smile before walking upstairs. "Mind of I spend the night, Riley? My...Long lost guy is here and my parents are gonna kill me if they find out I took their car."

She nods, "Sure."

I nod and walk to where Jamie is, and lay next to him, not caring if it was light out.

Someone lays beside me, warm and sweet smelling, and I bring my lips to their neck. Inhaling their scent, I smile at the pulsing of their blood and wrap my arms subconsciously around them.

Jamie kisses my neck and breathes me in, before wrapping his arms around me. I flash a smile and cuddle against him, even though he wasn't warm. I looked at how pale his skin was before sighing and burying my head in his chest, glad I finally had him back.

I sand a window as I look out into the street's, a unit of Vampire Hunters had been dispatched to the area. I was glad the house was dark and no one was awake so my presence wouldn't be found that easily, I think of the best way of dispatching this unit when I feel the presence of someone behind me.

"What is it?" I ask the person.

I furrow my brow, deeper into my nightmare of remembering, and press my face deeper into her neck.

'You were reborn by my hands'... A voice echoes, the dream black.

Something is wrong... I open my eyes and stand, slipping my jacket back around my shoulders. Silently, I slip up the steps and into the room where the Princess lay. She stands off to the side of the window, looking out onto the street. Is it night already?

"What is it?" she asks, bringing me back out of my thoughts.

"I came to ask you the same question," I say, "Something is not right."
