Eagle Crest Hallows [3]

Rayah

I have a bad feeling about something and I sit up. "I'm going to check on the kids." I stand and walk to Lo and Rye's room, watching them sleep for a few minutes.

Kira Nemisis

When it was clear that my prey wouldn't be coming this night I moved out of the shadow's and to the cirb again, I draw near it as I shake it intently as the kids begin to cry, whining for there parent's I quickly disappear back into darkness as I wait for one of them show up.

Alyx

The crib shakes and I reappear, sneaking off to the nursery. I wait in the shadows, hearing Rayah coming down the stairs.

Rayah

I walk into their room, sighing and pick them up, "Shh, It's okay." I whispered, kissing their foreheads.

Kira Nemisis

The first to come down was the mother, I pryed her for a long rap sheet amazingly long one. She was going to be a feast of my parents! I move out of the darkness and near her as my hands go to her shoulder and head craning her head for her open neck. As I'm seconds away from biting down on her.

Alyx

I jump out and attack the intruder before she can...bite Rayah? I tackle her, ignoring her hisses, and yell for Rayah to get out.

Rayah

Weird things happen and I just stare awkwardly at it all. He yells for me to get out and I don't move. "JACE!!!"

Kira Nemisis

The man tackles me down to the ground as I hiss at him for him to get off of me. The woman bolt's from the room, as I kick him off of me and stand, but I return low to the ground. Being short had it's advantages.

"You know two can fight and hide in darkness, it's just that I do it better than you." I said.

Alyx

"Yeah?" I smirk, hurrying the twins out of the room and shutting the door, "You better at the hiding or the fighting part?"

I jump out of bed and bolt down to Rayah.

Rayah

I scream and hurry out of the house, shaking enormously. I sit against a tree and bring my knees to my face.

Did that girl just try to BITE ME?!?

Kira Nemisis

"Both." I response

I hide within the pitch black darkness again as darkness is nothing to a vampire. I switch into a vision that allowed me to blood of still beating heart, the man was in the center of the room as I switched into a tiger's prowl watching for an opening.

Alyx

I feel stalked, my skin crawling with the unknown. I disintegrate and wait for her attack, hearing my own heart beat in my ears.

The door slams shut as the twins rush out. I take them in my arms and look around for Rayah, hurrying outside and over to her. Setting the kids down, I take her in my arms.

"What happened, baby? What happened?" I ask.

Rayah

I'm still shaking, my face filled with horror as I remember what happened. I can't say it and bury my face back in my knees, whispering stuff to myself shakily.

Kira Nemisis

I prowl until I'm right behind him, and pounce on him pinning him to the floor as I pry his mind for information to any crimes and what not, but to waking suprise this man had no rap sheet no crimes no nothing. He was pure as a newborn child, how was beyond me. I quickly moved off him, and disappear into darkness.

"How are you so pure? How is it that you have commited no crimes?" I ask powerfully so my voice would ring in his ear.

Alyx

She pins me down, and just as I think she's about to bite me, she moves off and disappears.

"How are you so pure? How is it that you have commited no crimes?" She asks, her voice ringing in my ear.

"Now if I told you that, I'd be throwing in all my cards," I flash a smile and bring myself to stand.
