I chuckle, disintegrating, and reappear invisible behind her, "Never go for the obvious, child. Looks like this is a lesson."

Jesse

He ends up behind me and I sigh, not turning around or anything.

Rayah, please?

She glances at Alyx before converting some of her power to me. Fire slowly forms in my hands and I grin, not showing it. I turn around quickly and punch him in the stomach, burning him in thr process. I nod for Rayah to take her power back and it destinguishes, going back to her.

Alyx

I fully reappear and chuckle again, staggering back, "Foul play? Now we're getting somewhere."

I look at Jace and he shakes his head.

"Oh hell no," He backs up, "Alyx, no. I am not - "

I disintegrate, reappearing at his side, and touch his shoulder, forcing him to disintegrate. I absorb him to keep him grounded and flicker blue and white light from my finger tips.

What the hell?! I don't want any part of this! Jace screams from within.

You owe me.

Rayah

Use your power, Jess. I know you have it.

I tell her through mind message.

Jesse

I hear Rayah in my mind and I close my eyes, my feet slowly turning into water.

"Oh my god! You have dad's power!" Rayah laughs, clapping. A triton of water slowly forms at my side and I grab it. "Oh my god this is so cool..." I whispered, amazed.

Rayah walks next to me. "That's why you've been so tough. You have daddy's power."

I nod, "Fire and water form what?"

She shrugs, "Lets find out."

Alyx

I watch, Jace screaming from inside for me to let him out, and disappear. The lights in the house flicker out and I absorb their power into me.

"Yes," I whisper, "Let's."

Everything I'd charged explodes out of me.

Rayah

Power explodes out of him and I look at Jesse quickly before making a fire wall around me.
Jesse gets hit, thrown into the wall and chuckles, "Well played. Rayah, fire." She tells me and I set the place on fire hesitantly, controling how high and low the temperature would be.
"Jesse, Water." I tell her, coughing. She sprays the place with water and smoke appears, drowning the place. I smile and look af Jesse.

Take advantage of them not seeing us.

She nods and turns into a puddle of water when I turn into some of the remaining fire.

Ah, one of the oldest tricks in the book. So be it.

I disintegrate and stay in the air, waiting for them to move.

The fire slowly dies down and I try my best to keep it going, coughing my lungs out from the inside.

Jess, I can't hold it any longer, It's killing me...

She speaks into me,

A little longer, Rayah.

I cough more and ash covers my face.It's hurting me.

She sighs- Five more minutes.

Alyx, please, let me help Rayah. Something's wrong, Jace worries.

I concentrate on the faucet in the kitchen until the pipe bursts, sending a spray of water all over. I catch sight of the one I'm dueling and smirk, sending all I can towards her.

Relax. She's strong.

Rayah

I see Jess get sent backwards and I cough again, Can I stop now?

She stands, No, Rayah, Just keep the fire going.

I nod, Okay, But I don't know how long I can go with all this smoke, Too much..

She sighs and sends water Alyx's way, glancing at me. NO! Rayah, Just keep it going. Keep the fire going.

Alyx

I smirk, doused with water, and make my presence known.

"Let her out of this," I say, "You'll kill her."

Rayah

I nod, Yes! Please!

She shakes her head, "No, She's strong, she can hold this. Rayah, make the fire bigger."

I sigh and flare it, causing another cough. Jess, Please...

"Rayah! No!" She says aloud. I sigh and shake my head, covering my mouth and nose in my sleeve.

Alyx

I've seen this, ignoramus.

I throw Jace out of me and slip into her.

Tell her to stop, now, I order as Jace stumbles towards his wife.

Rayah

"No!" She says aloud, shaking her head.

I cough again, I can't hold it...

The fire desinguishes and I collapse to the ground, ash covering my face and my lungs feeling destroyed.

"C'mon Rayah, Your faking." She says, crossing her arms.

I cough again and can't see, smoke still making my eyes tear up, "I'm-I'm not..." I said, my voice scratchy.

Alyx

Jace jumps over the cloud of smoke and takes her in his arms, carrying her out to fresh air as he coughs himself.

This test is over. Even the greatest of fighters need personal relations, need to feel when they're going too far. You have no self-control.
