Eagle Crest Hallows [3]

Rayah

I run up after him and see Logan dangling from the fan.

"Lo! No, Baby!" I yelled, climbing on the bed thingy and stopping the fan. I use gymastics and hook my foot onto one of the wings, making my way on top of it. I grab Logan and jump down, breathing heavily. I set him on the bed and lean against the wall, shaking my head.

Jace

I chuckle as Rayah retrieves Logan before realizing that Riley is no longer on the bed. Confused, I step into the bathroom and regret it.

Oh sh*t...

The mirror is covered in a rainbow of powdery stuff, lip stick smeared in the corners. All of Rayah's make-up is piled in the sink, the tub, and the toilet.

"Oh my gods, have mercy on this child," I mutter, picking her up.

She's covered in pink powder and sneezes from the movement.

Rayah

I walk into the bathroom and see all my stuff all over the place. I have to blink a couple times before coughing, my blush all over. "Riley!" I chuckled, waving my hand in the air. My perfume spritzed all over, I cough again.

Jace

I use a hand to wipe the powder from Riley's face, waiting for Rayah's flip out.

Rayah

Once all the powder clears I almost break down in tears. "Oh. My gods..." I covered my mouth. "Riley...." I shake my head, "I guess I'm buying more makeup." I sighed, cleaning everything up.

Jace

No kaboom? Aw...

I take Riley out of the room and find Indigo holding a struggling Logan.

"He, uh...Hm, how do I say this? He blew a fuse in one of the outlets and a fire started in the living room," He says.

Rayah

I hear that and my motherly-insticts kick up. I jump out the window for a faster way down and land, running in. The smoke covers me and I cough, getting the spray thingy from the sink from the faucet. I spray it a little and get newspaper, waving it in the air while coughing. "Get them out of here!" I yelled, getting the hose from outside, ash covering my face.

Jace

I hand Indigo Riley and run down after Rayah.

"Wait! What do I do with the both of them?!" He calls.

Indigo

Huffing a sigh, I jump out the window and take the twins to the garden, wondering what the neighbors think of us.

Rayah

I can't stop the fire and huge flare happens, hitting me in the arm. "Lets get out of here," I whisper to Jace, kicking the door down and running out.

Jace

I follow Rayah before remembering something. Stopping in the doorway, I glance behind me and swallow.

Good ol' Nic, don't fail me now.

I extend my hands and disintegrate, blinding blue light surrounding the house and restoring it to it's natural condition.

I see the cloud of light and swear, shifting and ordering the twins to stay put. I bolt towards the house and jump into the light before it disappears, regretting it the instant I feel my body disintegrate and join with my brother's...

Rayah

Weird things happen and I pick up the twins, running in and finding Jace on the floor next to Indigo. Both me and Zoey look over them. Zoey nudges Indi with her snout and I shake Jace, "Jay, wake up."

Jace

'He'll always be in here,' Nic's voice echoes.

My eyes open, but I'm not awake. Wherever I am, it's dark, cold, musty. I try to sit up, but can't, my body aching and drained of strength and energy. Footsteps sound and I try to force myself up, but it's to no avail.

'Jay, wake up!'

I blink a few times and find myself back in the house. Jumping up, I look around in case the scene will shift again. My head pounds, feeling as if someone took a piano and dropped it over my skull. Indigo stirs, whines, and wakes. He stands and shakes his fur out, licking Zoey in greeting.

Something moves on the other side of the couch, moaning.

Rayah

Jace wakes and I hug him tightly, "You scared me." I cried, Burying my face in his shoulder. Zoey licks Indigo's head and barks, seeing someone on the other side of the couch. I stand and look over, seeing another person.

Jace

Rayah hugs me tightly as Zoey barks at whoever's at the other side of the couch. I weakly hug back before she stands and looks over at the person. Pulling myself to stand, I glance over and find a man slightly similar to me cradling his head.

"Oh my god..." I whisper, my knees buckling beneath me.

I fall and glance at Indigo, who's eyes aren't as human.

"A-Alyx?" I call.

Rayah

I swallow and walk over to the person, crouching infront of him, "Hey," I sighed, "Your Alyx?"
