God..I really need to learn when to shut up.

I sigh and check my wallet for how much money I have left. Nic had the majority of our funds, I know that, but he saved some for me in case we were separated. Guess he always knew something like this would happen.

Rayah

I look at Jace. "How much money you have?"

Jace

I shrug and look up at her, "A little less than twenty. Hungry?"

Rayah

I nod. "Yeah. My mom and dad gave me thirty for my allowance," I say, digging through my pockets for it.

Jace

I nod and stand, "Want me to get you something out of the vending machine? You can pay me back later or something."

Rayah

I nod and flash a smile. "Thanks."

Jace

I flash a smile back, "No problem. Anything in particular?"

Rayah

I shake my head. "NAh. Surprise me."

Jace

I chuckle and shake my head at her, heading off to the machines.

Rayah

I watch him before taking a sip of my lemonade.

Jace

I grab a bag of cookies and chips before heading back, letting her pick.

Rayah

I smile and pick the cookies. "Me like cookies," I chuckle.

Jace

I flash a smile and open the bag of chips, sitting back in my chair.

Rayah

I smile back and open the bag of cookies, tired.

Jace

I sigh and decide I want something to drink, excusing myself and heading off to get another soda.
