Rayah

I flash a smile. "Nice. Sunny at most times unless the gods get angry. It's nice actually. You'll like it," I reply.

Jace

"Um...can you explain the gods to me?" I ask, looking down, "I wasn't kidding about not knowing about them."

Rayah

I nod and smile. "Let's see if I can name them:" I clear my throat.

"Zeus- God of the sky and lightning,
Hera - Goddess of marriage and childbirth,
Athena - goddess of wisdom and warfare,
Aphrodite- Love and beauty- This is my mother,
Poseidon - God of the seas - My father,
Artemis - goddess of the earth, nature,
Apollo - god of poetry and the sun,
Hermes- Messenger of the gods, known for his cunningness and stuff,
Ares - God of war." I breathe.

I take a deep breath. "Those are the main gods."

Jace

Known for his cunningness?

I nod, glancing back at her.

"Main...So there's more, huh? Just wonderful," I say sarcastically.

Rayah

I nod again. "Exactly what I said when I was five," I chuckled.

Jace

I look at her and shake my head, "Five?"

Rayah

I sigh. "Thats when I first found out I was going to grow to be a goddess," I look at the floor.

Jace

I nod slowly, "I suppose I'm not going to become a god though, right? Like, I'm not born of two..."

Nic comes back and sits at my side, only one ticket in his hands this time.

Rayah

I nod. "No, your not. When I turn twenty...that's when I turn one. You'll still be a demigod. Lucky," I flash a smile.

Jace

"Lucky? I'm stuck in a world I don't know for the rest of my life with no perks and I'm the lucky one?" I raise an eyebrow.

Nic elbows me, shaking his head, but I ignore him.

Rayah

I shake my head, "You'll be fine," I whisper, finishing my lemonade.

Jace

I nod and look at Nic, who reads my mind through my eyes and shakes his head again. Sighing, he stands and heads off to the vending machines.

Rayah

I watch his brother head off to the vending machine and I sigh. "I think you'll like Olympus. There are some great friends there," I say.

Jace

Friends... Maybe for a socially normal person.

I shrug and glance back at her, "How long do I have to stay?"

Rayah

I think of what the rule is, and then tell him. "Once you start a family or finish your training. You're techincally 'free' once that happens," I mutter.
