"Ah," I mused. I burst out of the wall in a shower of flames, seizing up the situation. "I see new faces here. Care to introduce yourselves?" I raised my palms up and ran a hand through my hair. "No weapons, see?"
Got bored. Felt like starting this up again and trying out my new character.
Ari/Quantum
I walk into the train station, my suit hidden beneath my jacket and jeans all Spiderman style and my mask tucked neatly in my side pocket which I find myself having to set my hand over every few minutes just to be sure it's there. Someone bursts out of a wall in flames and I swallow, glancing around.
"I see new faces here. Care to introduce yourselves?" the man asks, raising his palms up, "No weapons, see?"
Weapons? Why would he think I - Wait, more important question. Who else is talking to?
I freeze in place, sizing him up.
"Ari," I say after a few seconds, "I don't see why it matters though... This is a train station. People come to pass and go."
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I walk into the station, confused out of my mind. My black hair curved by my cheeks and My thoughts searched the place. I hid my fangs, stayed covered. I threw my jacket over my head and glanced out at the sun.
Screw you, sun. Too bad Aster couldn't have come...
My thoughts stayed to myself until I sat at one of the tables to wait for my train to the mainland. I wasn't hungry today, had a huge lunch before I left the kingdom. I sighed and glanced up at the times.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
With what I said to the fire-controlling man, I head off. I'm not here to get in any fights. Just get to the right terminal and await Titan's arrival. Looking down, I walk into the crowd of people and make my way to the other side. The train wouldn't get here for another hour. Sighing, I find a table and sit down, not realizing that someone else is there until I look around again.
"Oh, I'm sorry," I stand, "I didn't see you."
It's a girl, with a jacket over her head. Um..strange.
"I'll just..." I shut my mouth and sit in the table beside it, tired of making a fool out of myself.
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I sigh, "It's alright. I don't care," I say, realizing the sun has gone down. I remove the jacket from my head and fix my hair before glancing back at the boy.
"What's your name?" I ask.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I glance back at her and hesitate before rejoining the table. Looking at the time, I sigh and turn to her to find she'd taken the jacket off. Great. I'm so much better talking with people when we each have masks on...
"Ari," I say, looking down at my hands.
I run my fingers over the tattoo on my wrist, trying to appear as normal as one can.
"You?"
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
"Sammy," I say, studying him. "But you can call me Sam," I glance outside just to make sure and when I know, I look back at the table, trying to hide the mark on my arm.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
