Andrew~

I crouch down to him, patting him on the back.

"It's okay Jace," I say, he sobs. The tears falling down his face.

"No it's not..." he says between sobs.

Rayah

I see Alex outside and I walk out to him awkwardly. He smiles, "Hey Ray." He nods. I hug him, confused, "What's up?" I ask, letting go.

He shrugs, "Came to see you."

I smiled and blushed, "Aww..."

Jace

I stop listening to Andrew, not caring about pride or the lack of dignity by crying in front of him. After everything... What did I do that wasn't good enough? What did I do that would make her seek someone else?

Andrew~

I could see now that Jace wasn't in the mood to talk. I decided to leave him alone.

Rayah

Once Alex leaves, I walk back outside and see Jace in a breakdown. I walk over to him. "Do you want to talk?" I ask calmly.

Jace

Andrew leaves and Rayah comes out. I cover my head and refuse to look at her, letting her see what she caused.

"Go.Away," I mutter.

Rayah

I swallow and crouch infront of him, "I'm sorry..." I said, sighing. "I didn't know what I was doing."

Jace

I stand up and start walking away from her, not wanting to hear this.

"How could have not known?!" I shout as I go, "How could you not have thought of how I would have felt after finding out?!"

Rayah

I swallow and run after him, stopping him in his tracks. "Look at me," I tell him. "I didn't know what cheating was....I'm sorry." I say it louder this time.

Jace

"You're the freaking demigoddess of love, Rayah! How did you not know?!" I move around her, not wanting to collapse into tears in front of her. Or maybe I did...

Rayah

"Jace!" I call after him again, "I love you! What are you gonna do?! Leave us?! Your kids?! Some parent!" I walked the opposite direction, hoping he heard me.

Jace

I spin around.

"No, but maybe that's what you want! If I leave, you and your new boyfriend can create your perfect little family! And by the time they're old enough to understand, they won't even remember me because they'll be calling him daddy!" I shout, my voice cracking, "'Cause that's what you wanted all along!"

Rayah

I stop in my tracks and something in me breaks.

"Maybe that's what's best for them after all..." I muttered, and kept walking, pulling my hood over my head.

Jace

Panting, I wait for a reaction, any reaction, any sign that she meant what she said before. Getting none, I swallow back a sob.

"You didn't love me!" I scream, stumbling backwards, "I would have been enough if you did! You wouldn't - "

I fall back and fist my hair in my hands, bringing my forehead to touch the dewy grass below as I sob.
