"Yeah, Like you care," Charlie mutters, looking back at me. "I wont yell at you, If you just give me Niall." He says calmly, Though I know he wants to yell.
"I-I don't know where he is." I tell him, confused.
"That's it! Why do you always have to be so stubborn Rayah?! Just tell me where he is!" He yells again.
I look away, "I don't know." I said calmly.
"Yes you do!" He argues.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I set Logan down and stand in between Charlie and Rayah, blocking his view of her.
"I told him and his girlfriend they could stay the night if they wanted," I say, "It's the least we could do since I'm pretty sure we weren't going to pay them... I don't really know, to be honest. Anyways, if they aren't in here, they're probably in one of the guest bedrooms."
I pause, suppressing a smirk.
"See? Calm conversation is useful. Takes us out of the Stone Age, now doesn't it, Mr. Flintstone?"
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I look away, not sure what to say, "You don't know anything." I tell Charlie. "I didn't tell you anything. Whoelse would I be seeing?" I ask, looking down at the floor.
"What about Alex huh?" He asks, grinning. "You son of a b*tch. You can't just guess. Liar." I muttered, shaking my head.
"So it's true?" He asks again.
I shake my head, "I don't really know. I'm not saying anything."
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
He began to wonder why he had felt uneasy at all. It was like a man wondering in broad daylight why a dream had appeared so terrible to him at night. — Chinua Achebe, Things Fall Apart
