Name: Peter (he prefers to be called Pal)

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Appearance: Peter is tall and niether sturdy nor thin. He has a bright but slightly confused-looking face, with blue eyes, a roman nose, and light brown hair that is always short and well-groomed. He usually wears a Cubs baseball cap and work boots. He is very expressive; it's usually quite easy to read what he is feeling by looking in his eyes.

Personality: Peter's emotions are somewhat like a child. He loves attention in any form; some random person waving at him will send him into ecstatsy. He also craves approval and is therefore something of a push-over. He will do a lot just for a pat on the back and a "Well done." He tends to worry that others don't like him or are bothered by him. He likes everybody as long as they are kind, but a person who hurts another will basically be "Shunned" by Pal (really he just doesn't know what to do about them and avoids them)

Gift: Observational learning. He can watch someone doing a complicated dance routine and mimic it perfectly on his first try, usually. This is within physical reason, of course: he can't watch a bird and then fly.

Other: Up for love. He hates when girls wear makeup; he thinks it's weird. He is very worried that he will be met with disapproval.
When you asked me what Was wrong I wanted for dinner, I said "Nothing". But as I turned away I whispered, "Everything."

IPod - yes, yes it is me. : D

Name: Maximillian (Max or Mil)

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Appearance: He has chestnut brown hair with a blonde and red tinge to it and deep chocolate eyes. His skin is finely toned and matches his eyes and hair perfectly. He stands at about 5'5'' and is of average build. Preferring to not wear extremely dark clothing, he is usually seen in an olive green jacket with a white t-shirt underneath and lightwash jeans with plain old sneakers.

Personality: Max is quiet and soft-spoken, going out of his way to make sure everyone likes him. He's often absorbed in his thoughts and somewhat lost in his own little world. Because of this, he tends to worry about what people think of him and tries to patch up any misgivings about himself. He feels he's different, but doesn't want to be.

Gift: Basic precognition. He knows when something is about to go wrong and the severity of it, just doesn't have the ability to vividly see into the future.

Other: Up for love, just nothing overly serious. I mean, he's still somewhat of a child. Max is slightly afraid of making the wrong impression and of being perceived as something he's not.

Sorry this is a bit late.

Name: Alex

Age: 15 years old

Gender: Male

Appearance: Alex is a tall for his age (or what age he looks) with a compound build and a very ‘different’ look.
His skin is naturally pale and his eyes are a dark brown colour. His most distinguishing feature would probably be his hair, which is purple and styled into a Mohawk.

Personality: Alex is loud, he always speaks his mind and he is basically very honest. He is always very loyal to his friends (which is basically just the other dolls at the moment.) , likes meeting new people and trying new things.

Gift: Alex is a very empathetic person and though feelings are new to him he instinctively knows a lot about them. He has a gift for guessing how people feel and is more than often right.

Other: Up for love.

Name: Zoe

Age: 17 years old

Gender: Female

Personality: Zoe is a really smart and funny girl, although most people wouldn’t know this as she often doesn’t speak much around people she doesn’t know. (This is basically everyone but the scientists who ‘created’ her and the other dolls.) She doesn’t trust people easily bust is incredibly loyal to everyone she does (especially the other dolls.) She always speaks her opinion when she thinks it’s important and always stands up for her beliefs.

Appearance: Zoe is of average height for her age with an athletic build and long wavy black hair. She has silverly green eyes, delicate features and her skin is naturally pale and flawless. Most of the time she prefers wearing jeans and finds converse amazingly comfortable but she really does enjoy dressing up sometimes.

Gift: She has flashbacks of things that have happened in the past (even if she wasn’t there- though normally these are very brief.)

Other:
Up for love

For a moment everything was as normal and people walked around the lab doing whatever task they had been assigned to before. I stood at the door watching the dolls, wondering how we had managed to create them so perfectly. “It’s been stolen! The chemical formula has been stolen!” comes the panicked voice of my father, from the back of the lab.
I run to where, until now, the formula has been kept.
It can’t be gone! It was secure!
Moments later, after seeing the empty shelves, the truth sinks in- the chemical formula has been stolen.
I turn back to the dolls, who haven’t even glanced up from their work, not noticing a thing.
“This won’t work,” dad mutters in a voice filled with despair gazing at the dolls and looking more hopeless then I has ever seen him.
I watch as he pushes a button toward the back of the wall and what looks like smoke fills the room making all of the doors fall to the ground.
“What?” I begin to ask but he is already explaining.
“Soon enough the lack of the formula will hit their systems and if they were awake the change could seriously damage their systems.”
I nod, noting that it was a good idea- not wanting any of them to have been seriously hurt.
“What will we do?” I ask, thinking about the missing potion, “we can’t present this without the formula.”
He turns to stare at me seriously, nodding.
“We have to get the formula back, and quick,” he says and a machine beeps towards the back of the lab.
He goes to check it, staring up at thoughtfully at the dolls occasionally.
“They will go,” he says after a while.
“What?!” I ask, feeling horrified, “You can’t send them! They are only a few weeks old, if that!”
He nods but I’m not finished yet, “And without the formula they’ll develop emotions! Not that that’s a bad thing but emotions are new to them. How do you know if they’ll cope?”
He turns to watch them, “I don’t but we have no other choice. We need to get that formula back at all costs and they are a lot more inconspicuous then I.”
I nod, knowing that that is true.
“Fine,” I say, “But I’m going too.”
I walk to the middle of the lab and begin hording the dolls back to their ‘rooms’ not wanting them to wake up on the floor.

Start posting now- but just remember that you weren't aware of what was happening in the above section.
Just start poting from when your character wakes up- probably confused.

Raven

I woke up, confused by the bright lights shining in my eyes. I blinked, and tried to wriggle, push myself up, anything - but I'd been locked into my cage securely. Noting the cramped area I had been pushed into, something rose within my chest. It felt strange, and it made me feel more agitated than usual.

I looked around and tried to call out to Krista, but my voice we too weak. Fortunately, she noticed me and came over, releasing the clasps that held my arms in place and those that held my voice in check.
I felt odd, something new, and I experienced another - thing - for lack of a better word.

Looking up at Krista, I asked the first thing that came to mind. "What is my name?"
"Married to music - 'nuff said."
"Freedom is everything to me."

"Have you any idea why a raven is like a writing desk?"

Aster

Immediately after my eyes opened, I began taking stock of my surroundings.

Room--square, each side sixty-two feet long. Walls--white, plain, smooth. Floor--white, tiled, sterile. Ceiling--white, made of pockmarked drop tiles. Lights--ten of them, all fluorescent. Me--intact, energized.

Cage--six by six by ten feet. Bars of titanium-aluminum alloy. Locked.

I stood up and approached the locked door. It was a combination lock, a single dial, with twenty-five numbers. That meant 15,625 possible combinations. It would probably be more efficient to wait for one of the scientists to tell me the combination.

Scientists--eight of them in blue scrubs, and two others in white lab coats.

And seven other cages--all of them containing people.

"Krista," one of the girls called. The woman in the white lab coat walked over to her cage. "What is my name?" the girl asked.

"I am wondering the same," I said. Names, although arbitrary, would be the simplest way to identify ourselves.

"Hello," the scientist, Krista, said. "Welcome to the lab." She looked at the girl. "Your name is Raven," she said. She turned to me. "And your name is Aster."

I woke up , I look around , only to find I am in a cage , everyone that’s in the cages were wearing white scrubs , it seemed strange , scientist were walking around the lab , I saw a boy he was in the cage next to me , I was confused by why we were here, I wasn’t even sure who they were ,I looked up , only to be blinded by the bright lights , I saw a scientist walking around and chatting to the other people , I panicked when I saw I was strapped down, all I wanted to do right now was get up and run away.

The other scientists (hired by my father to help him when we were gone) pile around the lab seeming so out of place in this place.
The dolls are all lying still in the cages that my father insisted where good for them.
One of the dolls to the far right of the room starts to move and I hear her trying to say something.
I walk over to her, undoing the clasps that hold her to the bench.
She looks up to me, “What is my name?”
I start to reply but another voice interrupts and I turn to another doll that seems to have wakened up as well.
“I am wondering the same,” he says looking around at the lab with a focused expression.
“Hello,” I say to them both, smiling slowly, glad that they are both awake, “Welcome to the Lab.”
I look towards the first girl, remembering what her name is instantly.
“Your name is Raven,” I tell her and turn back to the other doll, “And you are Aster.”
Behind me I hear someone else struggling to escape from they’re ‘cage’ (an invention my father insisted was for the own goods of the dolls.) and turn around temporarily to see who it is.

Everything is just... There. Suddenly I am awake. Suddenly I am here, in a cage, and I am aware of it. Something weird flitters inside me. What is that? Am I about to be destroyed? A sense of what I know is self-preservation kicks in and I glance wildly about. There are others: more , in cubes of metal, lying there. Some are completely still, as if they're dead. Three are awake. A girl is talking to the conscious ones, telling them their names. I hear the words "Raven" and "Aster" and I instantly commit them to memory. Do I get a name? I wonder. Waiting for my turn, I watch the girl. She seems different somehow. I'm not sure what, just something that the one's in cages don't.

I try to wait, but I get this weird feeling that makes me want to yell and struggle until I am freed. I resist.

"Hello," I call. I want the girl to look at me and tell me what's going on, so I just say "Can you tell me what's going on? Can I have a name too?"
When you asked me what Was wrong I wanted for dinner, I said "Nothing". But as I turned away I whispered, "Everything."
