Terra Bellum (Started)

Nuclear war. We thought we could prevent it. Two hundred and thirty years after the cold war and it became inevitable. Warheads leveled cities, ending millions of lives on impact. The fallout ended millions more, limiting survivors to certain corners of the planet. Ten months after the disaster, landmasses were swallowed by the oceans. Only the territories once known as Washington and Oregon state remain.

A territorial war broke out, splitting the small land in sections to be divided up by three clans.

Plot:

The three tribes are rebuilding, making use of washed-up debris. Immune to the fallout by now, their only worries are for food, water, and future conflict. Though in competition with each other, two of the clans joined in alliance against the other. The conquest for territory has begun again. This time, though, the lone tribe isn't letting anything get in the way. It doesn't help that the young Emir of Baltia is missing...

Clans:

Castellan - also known as the lone clan. They occupy the northern section of the territory and believe to have been given the smallest portion. Those belonging to this clan are usually tactful and quick to act, but almost always have a tragic flaw [e.i - pride, hot tempered, self-destructive, etc...] Castellan is also in possession of coal and lumber, providing them with wealth but leaving them to crave more. In other words, they're in the war for the territory and the money.

Baltia - known for close relations to the way things were. They occupy the western section of the territory, the smallest of the divisions. Those belonging to this clan are wise and very much in touch with themselves. They are known for knowledge and philosophy, but are usually found with mental impediments [e.i. - schizophrenia, forgetfulness, mood disorders, etc...] Baltia is also in possession of fresh water and aluminum and are in the war to protect territory and resources.

Celtia - known for slight aggression. They occupy the eastern and southern territories with the same amount of land as the Castellan people. Those belonging to this clan are the warriors. They are normally self-sacrificing and excellent fighters, but are also somewhat bloodthirsty and animalistic. Celtia is also in possession or emerald ore, which is grounded into currency. They signed an alliance with Baltia to gain access to their resources and are fighting the war to prevent a greater threat from the Castellans.

Clan: Emir of Baltia

Personality: Mar is quiet and often times absorbed in thought. He remains calm in most situations, but is an emotional wreck if pushed too far. If he starts crying, it's not easy for him to stop. He doesn't scare easy, but is overwhelmed with the fear in certain situations. He hates the dark, but can deal with it.

Strengths: He is wise and mentally strong.

Weaknesses: Emotionally unstable some times.

History: Mar was born into royalty. His parents chose not to spoil him, but did make sure he had everything he needed. On his seventh birthday, he was abducted by masked men. He was taken to a small cottage and told he would not return home until their demands were met.

Other: Not up for love, he's a child, but attaches to people he senses good in quickly. He has a necklace with a diamond shaped aluminum pendant which represents home that he keeps hidden under his shirt to prevent it from being taken from him.

Kenzie has Long hazelnut ringlets. When she was little, her eyes were green but soon developed to a deep blue. Her skin is sun-kissed and she has a few freckles across her nose from her mothers side of the family. She isn't very tall, about 5'4" or 5'5". She is like a normal teen girl would people expect to look like exept she has burn marks on the inside of her arm from an inccident with fire when she was three. You'll usually see her wearing skinny jeans with boots, a black leather jacket and a plain white or black tee shirt or tank top underneath.

Clan: Baltia

Personality: Kenzie is very soft-centered and composed. She's smart and witty, great in all studies. She easily makes friends and loves to climb trees. Kenzie jokes around alot and likes to take the negitive times to become positive. She sees the bright side of stories and never sees the bad, only is someone points it out. The only thing she's done bad was when she was ten and it was an accident. To back up t[her smart quality, she knows where almost any place is from studying. She knows alot about the past and has the right mind at most times to take the right path. She's wise and always gives good advice to friends.

Strengths: Kenzie is very wise as in she tells the best adive and knows how to make someone feel better. She is good with the bow and arrow and is really good at figuring out riddles and schoolwork. She's really good at perswading people to do the right thing.

Weaknesses: She is not very good with knives and ends up hurting herself otherwise. Around fire she starts freakng out because of her past. When ever she sees a person younger then her or one of her best friends or close friends hurt or sad, she often breaks down along with them.

History: Kenzie's father was in the war, leaving her to go into the Baltia clan. Over time, she has improved in fighting and schoolwork. Her mother died when Kenzie was at a young age, and she's all her father has now. When she was three she was playing around with fire after her father left to go fight and hurt her arms. People acused her father of beating her and charged it as a crime, when it really wasn't. Her father got put in the war for more years and wasn't allowed to see his daughter until she turned nineteen when she could defend herself.

Other: She's up for love. She carries around her bow and arrow most of the time and maybe a small dagger in her boot that she rarely uses only in emergencies. In society she searches for the Emir.

Name: Sorcha Fianait (SEE ur KA FEE uh nut)

Gender: Female

Age: 19

Appearance: Sorcha’s hair is a muddy red in color and fashioned into waist-length, twisting dreadlocks. She often wears them tied back with a blue and lavender scarf or knotted unceremoniously at the nape of her neck. Her face is pointed, but not sharp, and set with sapphire eyes like crown jewels. There are always dark smudges around her eyes—from smut or sleeplessness, who can tell—and glints of silver and turquoise in her ears.

She wears a rough, cotton tunic and dark leggings. Soft, leather boots hug her calves, and a thick belt is wrapped around her waist.

Clan: Celtian

Personality: Sorcha is every bit a fiery red head: quick to anger, and quick to act on it. She is distrusting, but fiercely loyal when won over. The culture she lives in taught her to be the first to strike and the last to show weakness, but she is more uncouth than cruel.

In spite of herself, Sorcha has an eye for pretty things, and when she is not busy keeping up appearances, it is not uncommon for her to spend the afternoon bathing, admiring the sky, and singing softly to herself.

Strengths: Sorcha is a trapper by trade. She is skilled with a knife and knows how to gut, skin, and tan a kill. She has a tracker’s intuition, and can be surprisingly insightful.

Sorcha has ears like a fox and can keep up with a deer on foot, a fact that may give credence to rumors that Celtians are more animal than human.

Weaknesses: Sorcha is easily provoked, a trait that has cost her game and countless quarrels. The only time she is truly cool-headed is when she is setting one of her traps.

She is also severely near-sighted.

History: Sorcha is the daughter of a tanner. Her mother died of skin cancer when Sorcha was young, leaving her to be raised by a negligent father and three older brothers. Her brothers taught her to trap, and—through numerous pranks, ambushes, and wrestling matches—to always be on her toes.

Other: Sorcha is usually looking for a fight, not because she enjoys violence, but because she is naturally suspicious. For this reason, she is eager to enlist against the Castellans or even the Baltians should the tides of war change.

Up for love, if anyone is able to win her trust and/or willing to subject themselves to her wild behavior and violent temper.

Personality: (follow clan descriptions, please) Izi, is a real smart guy who and is really sly when need be. People bring him stuff to fix thats electronic and e would fix it for them. Soon he was known as the electronic freak/geek. This name didn't bother him because he grew up obnoxious and a jerk who took the name as an honourific name. He thinks he can do anything that has to do with technology and so he is over confident. He dose have moments where reality snaps him out of it, but it doesn't last long.
Strengths: (at least two) Izi is really good at doing anything to do with technology( like fixing electronics or inventing stuff) He can quickly anaylse a battle field and choose methods best for attack.
Weaknesses: (enough to even out the strengths) He is weak and over confident.
History: (no 'cannot remember' without good reason) Growing up Izi was always fascinated at how his parents ran their electronic shop.They were poor but the few rich costumers who came by helped them keep bread on the table. One day his parents were murdered and it is until 2 years later Izi finds out they were assassinated. Thereal reason as to why is still yet un-known to him. What he knows is a lie about his parents wanting to kill him but were murdered before they could.
Other: (up for love, belongings, place in society, etc...) not up for love. He always has his weird staff with attraction and repulsion abilities. He is not so rich and not so poor.

Good, but technology would be limited here. They're just starting over after the end of the world. He wouldn't have a laptop.

Name: Alcran Tire (pronounced tie-ree)

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Clan: Emir of Celtia

Personality: Alcran is rather dark and absorbed in his own thoughts. He's not bloodthirsty like some of the commons in Celita, but is definitely not one to value others' lives. He finds himself thinking about death quite often and knows every which way there is to kill someone, having been taught alongside his father's personal army. This information leaves him withdrawn and doubtful about trust in people, but if he does choose to trust someone, he's loyal and not as bad as he seems.

Strengths: He's an excellent warrior and is extremely protective of what's his.

Weaknesses: Once started in a fight, it's hard for him to stop until his opponent breathes their last. He also is absent-minded most of the time.

History: Born the Emir of Celtia, he was undermined by his father's shadow. He began training to be the fighter he is at a young age and was never cut a break. His mother died in childbirth with a daughter, of which didn't make it either, so he never knew anyone to truly love him. Around ten years old, he wandered off and met another boy, of which he clicked with immediately. The two grew close and Alcran even began feeling brother-like towards the other. It wasn't until he became aware of the clan the boy belonged to that he distanced himself.

Other: Up for love. Friend of Emir of Castellan. Carries a pair of swords with black hilts and an emerald jewel embedded in the sides.
