Me and Mark sitting on the couch, time's gone by and I somehow feel different. Mood swings pick up and I become even more sensitive, my stomach not agreeing with me lately.
"You think it's time?" I ask Mark, glancing down at my stomach.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I groan, thinking over how moody Selena has been this past week, and nod, "It better be. That's the only thing worth putting up with getting a cake shoved in my face because it wasn't the right blend of chocolate..."
I shudder and shake my head, kissing her temple.
"I love you though..."
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I narrow my eyes at him before standing, "Fine," I mutter before walking into the bathroom. I do the test and have to wait a couple minutes, the red line on the test more seeable then before. I turn the test around and take a deep breath before reading the words on the tab. Pregnant.
Trying not to scream, I try to figure out how to tell him. I can't just tell him. It's no fun that way. Just tell him you didn't do the test and just fixed you're hair or something. Tell him the fun way.
I throw the test away before walking back out to him, plopping beside him but not showing any signs of exitement or sorrow.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I narrow my eyes at him, "You're so unfair," I cross my arms, "But...I texted Vanessa and I need to go meet her downstairs to pick something up. Be right back," I say, standing and sprinting out to pick the stuff up.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I sigh, getting down there, and Vanessa's holding a back of the stuff. I take it, glancing inside. Teddy bear, check. I <3 daddy ribbon, check. Tape, check.
I smile and nod at her in a thanks before running back upstairs. I wrap the ribbon around the bear before tying it. I but it back in the bag and when I walk into the room, I look at Mark, "I gotta go to the bathroom. Be right out," I say, walking in the bathroom and taking the test I did, and tucking it in the ribbon. Yes. He's gonna love this.
