Mark

They both look at me at the same time and I freeze, looking back at them. Uh... I'm not liking this at all.

Selena

He runs a hand through his hair before taking a deep breath, closing my eyes.

"What...did I tell you?"

That I'm not allowed to date people I work with...god, I've heard this a thousand times. I get it.

"You can't control my life forever," I say instead, "I'm technically an adult."

"I know you are," He says, sighing. He just walks out after that and I watch him.

That went a lot better than I thought it would...

Mark

He leaves and I walk over to Selena, still holding Cole, "W-what happened?"

Selena

I sigh, flashing a smile, "I told him about us. He didn't kill you."

Mark

"Whoa..." I say, looking at the door, "Um, why not?"

Selena

"'Cause...I told him he can't control my life," I say, "He can't argue with that."

Mark

I nod slowly and glance back at her, sighing.

Selena

I frown, studying him, "What?"

Mark

"Nothing," I shake my head, "Just relieved."

Selena

I nod and plop down on the bed, sighing as I run a hand through my hair and checking my texts.

Mark

I set Cole down and sit beside her, taking a deep breath.

Selena

I smile, glancing at him, "Sup?"

Mark

I smile, "Nothing really. Sup with you?"

Selena

"Looking at my boyfriend," I chuckle, sighing.

Mark

I smile and kiss her quickly, "How's he look?"
