Selena

I smile wide at him and shake my head at him, "Thank you sooo much."

Mark

I nod, smiling, and sigh, "You're welcome, Sel."

Selena

I nod and step aside, "Come in."

Mark

I flash a smile and step inside, glancing back at her.

Selena

I shut the door behind him and set the puppy down, letting him wonder around. I wrap my arms around Mark from behind and kiss his neck, closing my arms and swaying, "Thanks again. I love him."

Mark

I smile and close my eyes, taking a deep breath as I set my arms around hers, "You're welcome. I'm glad you like him."

Selena

I close my eyes and smile, nodding, "I want to share him with you," I bury my face in his neck, "What should we name him?"

Mark

I smile and lean my face into the top of her head, "I don't know. What names do you like best?"

Selena

I think for a second, "Um...Shadow, Midnight...Cole. As in...black Coal. But the name version..." I answer, still swaying.

Mark

I sway with her and smile, "I like Cole."

Selena

I nod, smiling, "Same here."

Mark

I smile back and sigh, eyes closed and swaying.

Selena

Someone walks through the door and I jump back, seeing my dad, "Hey."

He studies us, "Hey..."

I cross my arms, "W-What are--"

"I came to get you're credit card," He says, "Need to add money to it."

Mark

I awkwardly take a few steps from Selena and scoop up Cole, trying not to seem as annoyed with her father's presence as I am.

Selena

I sigh, nodding and slip my hand in my pocket. Pulling out my credit card, I hand it to him.

It's either now or never...

"C-Can I tell you something?" I ask.

He studies me before nodding, "Yeah."

I pull him aside and tell him about me and Mark, him glancing over at Mark and Cole as I do.
