The Random Vampire Story [2]

Colt-

Colt picked Caiden up and looked at her exboss behind him. "I see you again I'll finish the job." He hissed leaving the house.

"Help!" The guy called, "Call an ambulence or something!" He's voice was full of pain.

"I'll think about it." Colt yelled back.

Caiden woke some time later cuddled up against Colt. He smelled different today...Her hunter instincts told her more human. He was human again!

Colt-

After Slade changed him Colt was exhausted. He had gone back to his room where Caiden was and curled up next to her. He breathed in and for once didn't catch her amazing scent. That is something he would miss for a while. But as he felt her warm skin against his own he didn't care. He held her close slowly closing his eyes and sleeping.

Caiden gently eased away from the sleeping Colt and took a shower and got some food before he came fumbling into the kitchen. His face looked so relieved when he saw her that he looked almost weak with it.

She brushed the hair back away from his face, "how do you feel?" she asked. He laughed.

"I should be asking you that."

Colt-

"I feel pretty good, now you didn't answer me." She smiled,

"I'm human again." He smiled,

"I noticed," She laughed as he wrapped his arms around her. His smile fadded a little.

"I didn't get to surprise you." He laughed faking a pout.

Caiden grinned, "you did, but you were asleep so you missed it."

"What do you mean?"

"You were asleep when I woke up rememeber? I'm a very well trained hunter, and being that close, I could smell the difference."

Before he could respond she kissed him.

(sorry about the double post but I'm bored!)

When we parted he looked like he had forgotten what he was going to say. I giggled. His eyes narrowed, "that was a dirty-" She kissed him again.

Colt-

Colt pulled Caiden close and kissed her, the feelings that ran through him were wonderful. He didn't want to stop, but they both had to breath now. He pulled away for a split second and kissed her eyelids, her nose then her again.


***grrrrrrr, I have to go. :'(*****

Caiden moaned as she clung to his neck, the world around her spinning out of control. She loved the feeling. She loved him. All the doubts she'd had in the last few days seemed to vanish forever. But the gnawing gut clenching feeling that she had, was still there. She still doubted, but not now. Now... now she was in heaven.

Colt--

Colt heard someone walk in,

"Get a room." He heard Brent groan as he walked past them and to the refridgerator. Colt pulled away from Caiden no matter how bad he didn't want to and looked at his friend.

"Alright." he laughed wrapping Caiden in his arms. Brent rolled his eye and shooed them away with his hand not looking from the fridge.

Caiden giggled at the pair of them. Were they really that bad? That thought made her smile. They turned around to walk away. "Lets go sit outside," Caiden suggested, "lie in the sun for a bit."

Colt grinned.

Colt-

When they walked into the sunlight Colt felt his skin shiver, he had forgotten how much he loved the feel of the sun on his skin. He swooped Caiden up in his arms and spun her around.

"You know, being human isn't all that bad." He said kissing her lips.

Caiden kissed back, "I know silly. Food tastes even better. And no more hunting." A sudden realization hit her and she kissed him again. "You remember everything right?"

He grinned and nodded before kissing her again. He danced around the yard with her for a few more minutes before they fell onto the grass, just soaking up the sun. Of all the romantic moments they had shared, this was the best.

Colt-

Colt pulled Caiden close to him as he closed his eyes and let the sun cress over their skin.

"This is heaven." He breathed in her hair.


***grrr, short*

"No, not quite," Caiden said teasingly.

He glanced at her, "whacha mean?"

"We're lacking food."

Colt laughed.
