The Random Vampire Story [2]

Caiden

She held on tight to her husband's hand as he led her into the baby room. "Open your eyes," he said at last. She opened them and gasped.

"Oh my," she said. The baby blue room was amazing. Even the baby's name was painted on the walls. She started to cry.

***Wait, I thought it was going to be pink. I'm lost, it's blue......soooo it's a boy????***


Colt---

"I hope that 'Oh my' was a good thing." He smiled holding her close and kissing her forehead. She nodded and he grinned. "Good, is there anythign else you want in it?"

Caiden

She couldn't think of anything else except the occupant. He had thought of everything.

"Just the occupant," she said, te tears not stopping. "Oh Colt, you're too good to me."

Colt---

Colt pulled her close and kissed her lips wiping the tears from her face. "I'd do anything, absolutly anythign for you. I didn't want you to have to worry about where the baby would stay, so I thoguht this was the least I could do sense you were havign to carry a baby around for nine months, then I get to help you carry him around." He smiled

Caiden

It was the day.

Colt---

Colt felt Caiden's body shiver under his arms. He looked down at her. "Are you ok?" He asked

"I-I think he's coming." She gasped. Colt swooped her up and ran out to the truck. He put her in the passenger seat then jumped in and started the engine. "Buckle up." He said worry dripping from his voice.

Caiden

With a shaking hand she buckled the seat belt and clutched nervously to the door handle and Colt's hand. Not bothering to be thankful for the automatic that they drove.

COlt---


When they pulled up to the hospital Colt grabbed Caiden again and ran inside. He looked around for the closest doctor.

"The baby coming?" One laughed walking over.

"Yes, sir." Colt replied.

"Let her walk, it will help." THe doctor smiled. Colt let her down. "Follow me."

Caiden

She cradled the tiny baby boy against her chest smiling down at it. "Hello Tristian," she said sweetly, "I'm your momma."

Colt was suddenly by her, she looked up at him, "hi."

Colt---

Colt beamed, "Hello, how is he?" He asked stroking the baby's smooth face. "How are you?"

He couldn't believe he was a father. A father to a precious baby boy.

Caiden

"He's sleeping," Caiden laughed, "and I wish I could do the same." she rested her head on his chest.

"Get some sleep then love, I'll come back when you're awake okay?"

Caiden smiled and let herself drift into dreamland.

Colt----

Colt paced outside of Caiden's room watchign her and the baby sleep. He couldn't wait until he could take her home. He sighed,

"When she is ready, you can head on home." The doctor said walking over. "All the paperwork is done, and you have everythign you need, just her consent."

"Thank you." COlt grinned.

Caiden

It was a repetitive tapping on something annoyingly loud that woke Caiden. She was already annoyed when she opened her eyes, and that only worsened when she realized that she was alone.

Both her husband and her child were missing, the room was dark, it shouldn't be dark she realized. Not this dark.

Colt---

Colt slowly rocked back and forth softly singing to Tristian. He had the premade milk held up letting the little boy drink his fill.

"Your momma should be feeding you." He said in a soothing voice. He had figured out that it wasn't waht you said, but the voice you said it in that comforted Tristian. "Maybe the doctors will be able to help her." He sighed. He stood up and started walking around the house.

Tristian had fallen asleep so he walked to the baby room and laid him down. Brent and Adriana (sp) had promised to help, when they got back from wherever they were. "Just you and me buddy, until your momma gets better. Trust me, she will, we'll all be here together, one happy familiy." He slowly left tears streaming down his face. He wanted to see Caiden, he needed to see her.

Caiden

Once her eyes adjusted to the dark Caiden sat up and looked around, she was in an enclosed space, and there wasn't any light. Where was Tristian? Where was Colt? Where was she?

Not willing to move she curled up in a little ball, wishing Colt would come find her.
